We very much enjoyed our stay in our cave room -and it was much taller than we expected ! The bed was large and comfortable and there was an excellent powerful shower in the good size bathroom with lovely soft towels. Daniela was very helpful and answered any questions we had about Matera or logistics very quickly . Stay here you won’t be disappointed.

Loved everything. Such a wonderful experience to have been able to stay in a cave loved the glass section were you can see the underground cave. Great location as you are in the Sassi…great restaurants and cafe. Danielle was super efficient in making sure that we accessed the place without any hassle and connected us to a great Taxi driver who made sure we were on time to our bus. Loved it very much definitely would stay again

Beautiful enchanting accomodation. We needed for nothing. We made a very good decision after parking our car and walking to the accomodation to see how far away it was. We walked back to the car and packed our carry on with what we needed for the 2 nights, and we were extremely grateful that we didn't ended up dragging around our 2 suitcases up and down over cobbles and stairs, as its quite a walk.

There is a QR code placed on the wall right outside the front door. It creates a lot of people hovering around, loads of chatting and trying to get the screen shot, hence it made it difficult to keep the door open for fresh air because whilst there is a flyscreen it was tempting for everyone to stop and look in.

Location was excellent.

Very small but for a couple it would be ok. Bathroom very dark but it is a cave experience. Directions could have been better to avoid us carting suitcases all up and down Matera steps when we could have been informed to get into the city an easier way. We booked the whole place but before arrival were informed it would be 40 Euro per night to put bedding on a single bed upstairs????? As two friends travelling we chose this place because it had a double bed and two singles. Of course the fine print makes this clear that you are only entitled to the double bed.
