Il Geco was in a fantastic location in the beautiful old city of Matera. The location is the highlight of this property.
The photos show a terrace where we were hoping to sit and watch the town light up however the photos were not true to the reality. However as stated, the location is everything!

The property was easily accessible and had fabulous views of the city and the canyon. The bed was very comfortable as well.

We liked everything. The room was amazing with everything what you need. Location is perfect, restaurants nearby. Parking was 10 minutes walk. The owner was really helpful and kind, always ready to help. Even left a surprise bottle of drink and snacks.
Nothing.

The location. Bed was also comfortable.
The lack of parking closer to the unit. I would like to suggest that you direct people to drive there drop off their luggage then go somewhere to park.
