Palazzo Montemurro Casa Vacanze is part of a single estate dating back to the 1700s. The palazzo is located on Via Domenico Ridola; a short walk to Belvedere Di Piazza Giovanni Pascoli (an excellent observation point overlooking Matera). The tasteful & authentic restoration of the boutique hotel was completed in 2018 and is well maintained and cared for. Antonella & the family are fabulous hosts, and every aspect of our stay felt that it was curated for our enjoyment & comfort. We secured (paid) parking across the road from the Palazzo and walked the centro històrico daily from sunrise to sunset. Antonella’s communication pre and during our stay was exemplary. We would recommend the Palazzo to family and friends without hesitation.

Palazzo Montemurro Casa Vacanze was a delightful stay. Gold stars for palazzo Montemurro! Perfect location. Comfortable bed & pillows. The host was amazing. She provided us with everything we needed. Could not ask for more. Love the host & the apartment. Exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

Perfect location. Our place exceeded our expectations. Spacious, beautiful interior, comfortable beds and quiet location, even though we were in the heart of the city. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. She also recommended good cafes and restaurants. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Matera!
