This is the perfect place to stay for exploring Matera and the archeological park. The location is superb and the space is beautifully designed and very comfortable. The communication with the host was excellent and it was easy to navigate the arrival and departure. There were wonderful suggestions for what to do and where to eat and a spectacular welcoming tea on arrival. We had a marvellous stay!

Great location, comfortable, modern amenities, surrounded by beauty, easy communication with the hosts. We were lucky with the weather, so the numerous stairs up and down to get there were not an issue, but we were wondering how slippery it would be if it rained. That would apply to any accommodation in the sassi.

This stylish apartment is in a superb location, with a beautiful view and the host is warm and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

It is located near the hiking trailhead which was perfect for activity, views and quiet, away from the busier areas of town. The bathroom and kitchen were modern and unique.
There was some transmitted (TV) noise from the unit above.
