the location was as good as it gets! only 10-15 wide steps down (no lugging your bags around). It was also very central, even close to a supermarket.
I would randomly return to the room many times during the day for bathroom breaks and naps.
I arrived late in the evening on a cold day (there’s a key box) and the room was nice and warm. The host is very good about being attentive / prompt on whatsapp, so there was never a moment when I felt lost. Grazie!
I understand that in cave dwellings, ventilation is difficult, but when the towels used the previous night are still damp the next day, you feel that something should be done… for instance, allowing the heater in the bathroom to come on.
