Central, cosy and welcoming.

We are returning customers to the Inn and often book out a couple of rooms with friends. The Crow Inn is perfect with cosy and clean rooms. The staff are very kind and welcoming. We also had a couple of drinks downstairs, a lovely cosy little bar!

Clean hotel but a few issues...

Clean / pleasant room. Tea coffee etc The lady behind the bar showed me to my room

I booked for a double but was allocated a triple. Something around someone else taking the room. I stayed in room 4 This however worked out OK as the double bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The mattress was lumpy and definitely needs replacing. I could feel the springs. I slept in the single bed which was better. The TV is very small to see from the bed. I requested a quiet room but was road side and the noise of traffic early hours made it difficult to lay in. Something I was looking forward to. There was a delivery early so the noise again was frustrating. Also using the back steps to exit there were a number of barrels and crates at the foot of the steps making it tricky to step around it. Particularly as the underground area was open. The roadside parking is cash only so I had to find a different place to park which took me out of the vicinity. It would be helpful to know this in advance. I had to park up and get an uber there and back. Generally the hotel is fine but for me these things would have made it better.

Comfortable, clean, and well-located

Excellent location, close to the city center yet on a quiet street. Very warm, which was especially important after a rainy day in the city, and I could dry my wet clothes and shoes. The temperature is adjustable. Thick curtains, a wide bed. Quite quiet, considering there’s a pub downstairs. Friendly staff. Everything very clean, good bedding. Almost nothing to say. I had the Magpie room, which was rather small. The bed was right by the window. The mattress was maybe too soft for me.

Nice room, good value!

The room & bathroom was super clean and had everything one needs for a stay, clean carpets, coat hooks, coffee/tea making facility, TV, hand wash, shampoo and shower gel. Nice clean beddings and towels and a good strong hot shower!

Overall very good stay, cosy room, helpful and kind staff.

Really kind staff, they allowed us to drop off our luggage and took it to our rooms for us. Room and facilities were very good and good value for money.

Carpets probably need a bit of cleaning and windows even when shut do not keep out noise from the street.

Great location for spending a few days in Sheffield city centre.

Warm welcome on check in. Room spotlessly clean and good location near all of the city centre attractions. Some nice real ales served in the bar.

Limited hanging storage space would probably stop us from booking for more than a few days.

The staff were lovely - as an obviously LGBTQ person you're never quite sure what you're going to get when you go somewhere, but I had no problem with the staff or the patrons.

Not the pub's fault, but I was on the front of the building and there's a street light opposite, and I always struggle to sleep unless it's pitch black. Also the window was single glazed - there was no draughts or discomfort, just some slight noise from cars from time to time.

Room was very small. Bathroom was boiling too, with no way of turning off towel rail. Had to have bathroom door open and widows open over night. Which was quite noisy as room was on the road front.

Get what you pay for

Good value for money.

Got back to the inn 2 mins after 11pm to be refused a drink as already cashed up. Thought they could have at least took our money and added the sale onto next days takings . Had to do a 15 min round walk to go to the shop

It was one of the cheaper places to book in the city and pretty much it matched that. Couple of niggles but really I didnt spend much time in the room so it was fine. Staff very nice! Good location, near the cathedral tram line. Found parking over the ring road by scrolling through reviews so didnt end up paying so much for parking. If youre happy to unload and drive a minute or so you'll be fine and avoid paying 🙂

Window didnt close fully but it's a quiet street so not really an issue. Shower head sprayed all over from the base so that definitely needs attention. Otherwise clean no problems. Didn't expect soundproofing for the price 💁‍♀️

Great room and fab pub!

Lovely clean and bright room. Nice shower. Family room was just right for us and daughter to stay. Went in pub downstairs for a couple before bed and what a great place. Lovely atmosphere, great tunes, quirky pictures, fab selection of beers and such a nice host / barman. Would love to see what it would be like at the weekend, I bet it’s packed!

Great stay in a great location

Good location very close to the centre, note if staying on a weekday the nursery next door is quite noisy. Stayed in the tripple room. Simple check in & out process. Simple & clean room, spacious & bright, liked the local artwork. comfy bed. The pub downstairs is great, cozy decor & reasonable prices. Would recommend this place & will likely rebook for next year.

Not a lot to dislike, adding a small fridge in the room would be a massive bonus.

Would go back again!

The decor and atmosphere of the rooms and pub were just amazing. The artwork was quirky, the rooms comfy, and despite being literally IN a pub there was barely a noise to be heard. Amber and Trudy down in the bar couldn’t have been more welcoming, helpful, accommodating, and just generally awesome. For the bar there was an amazing selection of beers and ales on tap, and both the indoor and outdoor areas had a really cosy vibe.

I was a bit feart of all the plug adapters joined together in the room, and I did find a random ice lolly stick down the side of the bed, but otherwise it was clean and tidy.

Fantastic pub with lovely accommodation ideally located for Sheffield city centre which was 10 minutes walk

Amazingly friendly pub with very smart and incredibly clean bedrooms. Bed was very comfy and all amenities were perfect. Great value for money. Staff on bar were the friendliest people we’ve met staying away for a weekend with and their selection of beers and spirits was really impressive.
