The location was fantastic & useful for self caters. I would recommend this property to others.
The restaurant was not open its full hours during our stay but we think it could have been due to the time of year we were staying.

Location was a little outside Penzance, but not too bad to access. Not possible to walk in, though. Quiet location and as described.
Would have been good to have a washing machine - although there was a launderette on site.

Location is good, though you wouldn't want to walk into PZ given there are no paths etc, even to Gulval. About £7-10 for a taxi into town, which isn't too bad. Really good for stocking up with supermarkets and a high-street lose by.
It was very basic and dated, so it was more of a base than somewhere to enjoy staying in. Broken kettle, radiator (written late Sept) and very dirty shower head which was disappointing. Also no towels provided (though was explained beforehand) and no hand soap in the bathroom or kitchen rolls and bin bags left, which meant we relied on the reception desk (not connected to this property) for help. The frying pan was very rusty/dirty as well, though thankfully we weren't cooking there a lot.

Location, quiet atmosphere, plenty of room.
Only one bedside lamp... Bought an extension lead for 2nd lamp. We'll equipped but needs new frying pan.

Comfortable bed
No free Wifi (only Paid WIFI from the holiday park itself).
Fridge was in poor state (seal split and mouldy and unhygienic)
Crumbs on settee, place smelled of fried cooking on arrival.
carpets very old and worn.
shower cubicle mouldy and not pleasant looking
sink and drain hole discoloured
radiator on wall with out of order sign, on it, no clue when it was to be fixed.
dirty crockery
no control indication text on Oven (had worn off and no way to know what functions to select. had to download manual for the oven to know how to use it).
hob clearly past it's useable date, took around 20 minutes to boil a pan of water
whole place felt very dated and in need of modernising

Located on a good sized ‘holiday camp’ type facility just outside Penzance. Short drive to the town - nothing in Gulval itself. Very handy for lovely St Ives and Lands End (which was more fun and interesting than I expected. Food and staff in the restaurant/pub were both good and our experience was far more positive than some of the negative reviews I read before we arrived. Overall very good value for money.
Bedrooms small, sloping roofs. Not 100% clean but just acceptable. Fridge on its last legs.

nice quiet location
the oven and grill graphics were worn totally off and the toilet is positioned badly as the males struggle to use the loo

Good place to touring around Cornwall. Just go down to Penzance bus station and day family tickets will take you all your designated places. After family day out swimming pool is great but they closed for hot tub and sunna. Hiking around the Keneki Manor is bonus and oversee the sea from hills.
Property is cracking. When I look for the property I didn’t realise that it was on the hill. Google show me 20 minutes walk. So I didn’t even took the taxis with our luggages walking up the hills. I regarded for that.

The location.
The kitchen was poorly equipped. The hob did not work it took 2 hours to boil veg and still not cooked. The second bedroom not a double. Could only just fit 2 beds in and nothing else. The worse problem was the mattresses. We simply couldn’t sleep on them and had to both move downstairs and sleep on the sofa. The decor looked like it hadn’t been touched since the eighties. Will not be returning.

Property very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Duvet on double bed so fluffy and soft- was like sleeping under a giant marshmallow!
Lovely to have the table and outside garden space to use. Excellent value for money. Property owner responded promptly to our messages. Would love to stay here again.
Slopped low ceilings upstairs in the property meant a lot of ‘ducking’ for our taller members of our family. But wouldn’t put us off staying again.
Didn’t like having to leave! 😊

The property was fairly basic but it was warm and the bed was very comfortable with high quality sheets. The entry was Covid secure and it was handy to have an on-site restaurant.
Small TV, Cooker was difficult to use with an old fashioned hob that took ages to warm up.

It's a great place, very quiet and the location is really nice. As you drive out the main entrance there is a beautiful view of Penzance and the sea, a real bonus!.
I could not fault it!.
