Great property with facilities and value for the money 💰. Kids and family are enjoyed stay with swimming pool used was great spot on . Only down side for improvement was no WiFi informed many times to reception nothing has done to fix considering 5 days of long stay .

The staff at the resort were amazing

I arrived at Gulval to check into the property, upon arrival the code I had for the keycode was wrong, I went to the reception and they couldn't help me as the booking was through booking.com and a private owner, I contacted the number I had for the owner and it took me to hose seasons emergency line, who were very kind but couldn't help me, again I tried reception and they were amazing but couldn't help me. Eventually I had to ring booking.com who had to cancel my booking, refund me and explain I had to find alternative accommodation, at 8.30pm with my children in the car who were tired and hungry. I have had no communication from the private seller, no apology and I would never recommend them. I have seen they are still on booking.com and I personally think their property should be removed to stop this happening to someone else.

Nice bungalow/staff everything else a let down

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Bungalow itself had everything you needed with regards to kitchen items and there was attention to detail, e.g the bedside lamps had usb sockets and there was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. There was also an iron/board in the bungalow along with a welcome pack of washing up liquid tea towel sponge and bin bags. The facilities were minimal however we only stayed as a base for the surrounding area. There is a small swimming pool which needs to be booked each morning for selected time slots which are 45 mins and it only has a capacity of 20 people per session so doesn’t get over crowded. There are tennis courts which the bar man offered to lend us rackets/balls for. Parking is right outside the bungalow In general the bungalow itself was lovely and had heaters which was nice for the evening

The location: not safe to walk off site you need a car as there are no pathways and very windy roads so nothing in walking distance. Minimal onsite facilities and the bar is only open 3pm-9pm (ish) and food doesn’t start until 5pm The pool is not open on a Saturday and it is extremely rundown in need of a refurb (I’m actually surprised they are allowed to be open due to how unkept it is) the restaurant does not serve food on a Sunday so if you don’t want to travel out ensure you have everything you need. FALSE ADVERTISING by booking.com as it stated my bungalow features a sauna IT DOES NOT! The sauna is within the pool area only available for timed sessions ALSO booking.com stated check out was 10am, it is actually 9am! There was a lack of hot water despite the maintenance man coming out twice so had cold showers but luckily it was only a 2 night stay. Advertised as 2 single beds (also the picture was 2 single beds) it was actually a bunk bed which is a problem if you child is scared of them

The location is quiet and the food served in the clubhouse excellent with friendly helpful staff

The shower had a split in the centre of the tray so used minimally as was ‘repaired’ with a smear of silicone that didn’t stop it leaking. The double bed should be replaced it was so uncomfortable and we ended up going into the single beds .

I self catered breakfast, visited family every day. It was a very friendly atmosphere and any staff I spoke with were pleasant and helpful. I didn't use the facilities but the daily texts were good prompts about activities available.

A very nice break away from home

The bungalow was lovely ,basic but better than we expected.could do with more information on how the tv works and where to put the rubbish when leaving.

The swimming pool was good but its surroundings where very poor ceilings,walls shower all in need of a good clean and freshen up or updating ,didn’t stay in long because of the mould around the place felt dirty .

For the name kenegie manor to what you got was very disappointing 2 night stay for £161 was disgusting and rip off. It’s a holiday park the bungalow was cold with no prior heating on arrival giving it a personal touch the main reception that’s a laugh in its self we greeted with a lady wearing her coat behind the bar and the bar man wearing a baseball cap it’s what I’d call a club house which was also freezing there was nothing warming to this trip at all we only stayed the one night due to it being that bad we were very disappointed in the whole experience being a manor anyone would expect more especially for the price but it felt with the experience I was at butlins the pool was advised but was closed on the Saturday but re opened on a Sunday again a joke I would like someone to get back to me regarding all these issues and refund for the disappointment raised we were visiting family we hadn’t seen for over 10 years and this was cut short due to the experience here I would expect for the price breakfast to be included but for the name and what u get is two completely different things. Reception is club house

The little house was fine for what we wanted. It was warm and comfortable.

No extractor fan in toilet or kitchen. Shower leaked a little down stairs. Door was a stable door that was a bit quirky.

The size was good

AVOID! There isn’t free wifi, towels or even HAND SOAP! The advertising is false and it was not the property in the photos, you had to pay for wifi, I wasn’t told I’d need to bring towels so I have to buy them down there, the electrics kept a short circuiting, which was apparently my fault for over loading the electrics, (with the toaster and a few lights on!?) Basic couldn’t get more basic

Good location, close to St Michaels Mount, Penzance and Mousehole etc. we stayed for two nights and it was comfortable enough. Main bed is only a double which we found uncomfortable. I didn’t read the information and didn’t take towels (my fault) also no soap or laundrette that guests could use? Lovely big grounds with several resident squirrels, quiet at night.

Fantastic place, shame about the third party Internet access

The staff are very friendly and the accommodation is spot on, we had a holiday cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen and living space which was fantastic and spacious enough for our little 5 year old to run about. The location is brilliant for St Michaels Mount, Minack theatre and lands end but like anywhere in Cornwall you do have to travel for any other attraction or experience. The swimming pool was excellent, clean and a good size with graduating depths from approx 3.3ft to 8ft. The bar offered good entertainment and excellent food with free WiFi within the area.

The only downside was the Internet outside of the main area and across the park, this is provided by a third party with hourly/daily/weekly charges. We signed up for the week but had no signal in our accommodation and at best one bar around different areas of the park but still not strong enough to do anything. At this time we have emailed the company concerned and are awaiting their response.

Lack of communication made for a sour experience.

Location was great for exploring Cornwall. When eating, staff were friendly and food was nice, service was good. Lovely and quiet at night

Cottage wasn’t ready until 5, check in was supposed to be at 4, but no text to warn us so we left the beach early for no reason but we received a text about fish and chip Friday! Nothing offered to compensate for our wait. Details were incorrect on check in - they thought we were staying for three nights. Swimming pool closed on a Saturday so if staying fri - Sun you get no pool time - not communicated on booking. No towels provided which would have been fine if we’d been informed. Double bed was missing a wheel so half the bed was lower than the other half (top to bottom from the middle) We still paid over £100 a night and it wasn’t just dated, it needs complete refurbishment. Shower was awful, kitchen was fine, hot water in bathroom awful (sprayed everywhere). We actually ended up having baby wipe washes as washing facilities were so bad and we didn’t bring towels apart from beach towels which were sandy. Biggest problem was lack of communication. If we had been told about the issues with check in, or that there were no towels included, or even what to do with the bins on check out it would have been a much better experience.

The accommodation is way too small for six people. It should be for a maximum of four. Not enough room for six people to move around, sit together or eat together, not enough space at all. I asked a question before we arrived about an iron or ironing board before we arrived at the site which wasn’t answered, and then when we were checking the main bedroom before we left, discovered an ironing board under the bed.

Worst property I have ever seen in UK.

Area was good near to beach.

This property was smelling so bad and was not in excellent condition. We did not enjoy the stay at all which is why we came back home one day prior. Our holiday was completely ruined. They claimed about Internet included which was not in real. My health was getting worse due to damp smell inside the property. We completely regret choosing this property as our holiday plan for Easter.

Pleasant stay for a good price.

Close to local area. Bungalow was clean.

Sofas were uncomfortable and damp patch in double bedroom corner which made clothes left in that corner wet. This was reported to staff on leaving. If the site was full you would probably not be able to park in your allotted space as very narrow. No entertainment at pub/club although was advertised as having bingo and quiz night.
