Ziz is a kind and welcoming host. The house and room were very clean and comfortable. Even on these hot days recently the rooms were airy and cool. Gorgeous views and so close to the town. Ziz has some amazing recommendations on where to eat and visit.
Honestly everything was perfect down to the little mints on your pillow and coming back from a day out to find the bed remade.

Location was perfect for our stay. The room itself was everything we needed. Ziz was a perfect host. Breakfast was great (try the jumblies) As we were stopping for a concert we were attending, we made sure we were quiet when coming back, which was usually quite late. Ziz appreciated our thoughtfulness and we will definitely be stopping again for next years concert.
There isn’t really isn’t anything to complain or moan about, doing so would just be nitpicking. If I do have to put one thing, it was that I didn’t get chance to meet the gorgeous boxer dog called Sukura.

Lovely accommodation. The room we stayed in was so spacious and comfortable. Ziz was a great host and made brilliant breakfasts every morning. The accommodation was just a short walk to the centre of Matlock, but was tucked away in a quiet street, so we had the best of both worlds.
