This was a very comfortable stay and I was made to feel very welcome.
It was a bit of a walk up the hill - but I knew that when I booked!

What an fantastic place to stay! Ann and John were the best of hosts. Great conversation, amazing breakfasts and local recommendations that did not steer us of course for an incredible stay in Matlock. Although we were there on the hottest day of the year, the room stayed cool with a provided fan and we were comfortable.

We liked everything, the room was nice with lots of storage space and there was a lovely outdoor area we could go and sit in to watch the birds from. John and Ann are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. They were quite happy to have a talk with you when you'd finished your breakfast. The breakfasts were excellent, I had the South African breakfast two mornings and that was really enjoyable too.
Nothing we can think of. the shower was a little small and awkward to get in due to quite a high step up, but that was more down to our mobility not being too good.
