The property is delightful, and the proprietor very kind and helpful. The room was spacious and the breakfast excellent. Secure parking on site. I could not fault the place itself at all, and would certainly stay there again.
However, do be aware that there are very few restaurants nearby. The nearest one (Le Relais de Francueil) was closed on the evening of my stay, but a passing local directed me to another (Au Comptoir), which was very good, albeit a significantly further walk.

The house is beautiful and very well appointed. The hostess is very welcoming and helpful. We loved staying there and would like to go back. Breakfast was amazing, with everything you could want.

The house and location are excellent with lovely bedrooms and en suites facilities with airconditioning which was a bonus. The grounds of the house are large with a beautiful pool. The living area contains a large refrigerator, microwave and toaster.
Wifi was very sporadic and in 1 bedroom no wifi.
The swimming pool was cold and needs to be heated outside of July and August. A simple solar panel would suffice to raise the temperature.
Breakfast was ok was it would be good to have croissants and more orange juice.
Needed more glasses and wine glasses available and also crockery as there wasnt any provided.

Second visit in as many years and La Blanchetiere remains a delightful spot with immaculate rooms, a charming hostess and beautiful pool to relax in after a days driving. We shall keep returning !
