What a bed and breakfast is supposed to be

Everything 🥰 Patricia is clearly a host who cares about her property, her commune, and her guests. She goes the extra mile to insure guests have the best séjour possible. To this end, she keeps a spotlessly clean house, serves a lovely breakfast, tends a beautiful garden, provides useful suggestions for restaurants, attractions and local shops. An absolute pleasure to have stayed at Clos Mony!

It was beautiful. Extremely charming. Super well located. The owner was super helpful and told us about all the bike tours we could take around and places to see. You could see that she loved her region and was passionate about what she did. It really was a great stop!

Location superb for the Chateau and nearby restaurants. Exceptionally quiet location, very comfortable beds and Patricia was a very pleasant host(ess).

Our stay at Le Clos Mony was absolutely wonderful, by every measure.

Often times when you're on holiday and covering a fair amount of ground from day-to-day and moving quickly from place to place, it sometimes can take a little bit to unpack, adjust and relax in your new quarters for that day. Le Clos Mony didn't require that adjustment. It was immediately a place of quaint, easy comfort and relaxation. Such a great and welcome find for us. Location, large picture windows, the night lights of a magnificent nearby church and proximity to restaurants and stores was just perfect for our short but very enjoyable stay.

A quiant and comfortable cottage very well located in the Loire region close to several Châteaux. The proprietor, Patricia, could not be a nicer host, and the breakfast was delightful. We would certainly stay here again.

Breakfast was good and the location was quiet but within a village

Patricia was a little officious. We were worried about making too much noise. You were not allowed to eat in the rooms. The kettle we were permitted to use was at the foot of the stairs and not easy to use. There were a lot of rules. We stayed for 5 nights and the room was not cleaned, the bins were not emptied and the towels were not changed

We will never stay in another B&B They do not work for us.

This trip started off very badly for us. We were late arriving at the B&B due to a long travel day involving a train ride then renting an auto which had to be exchanged causing a two hour delay. Then a 4hr drive in heavy traffic which made us arrive 2 hours after the owners assigned check in time. The owner speaks no English and we speak no French. The owner called us and left a message in French which I did not discover nor did I understand until after we arrived. We found the B&B closed up lights off except for one up stairs light which we could see someone looking out at us, and front gate locked. The owner was not going to allow us to check in late. I called the B&B phone Number and left several messages. She probably didn't understand them either. I had to climb over the locked front gate and knock on the front door. The owner finally open the door and was very irate at us for being so late, probably cussing me out in French. Then the next day charged me 30 euros more for disturbing other guest. The breakfast was very disappointing which I guess is just the French way of eating breakfast consisting of a lot of bread. It needs to be stated in the B&B info on the Bookings.com website that the property owners only speaks French. The B & B did not work for us and our way of traveling.

Perfectly located for visiting Chenonceau Château & a good base for exploring the Loire Valley.

Perfectly located for visiting Chenonceau Chateau. The room was very pretty & very clean & comfortable. Patricia was very friendly and helpful, helping us to book a table at a local restaurant on the evening we arrived. The Château is spectacular and the small town is very nice with several nice restaurants. The first night we ate at Hotel Le Roy, it doesn’t look much from the outside but the food was really good, especially the French onion soup.

Home away from home.

Loved the place. Patricia is truly a professional with her bed and breakfast. She made us so welcome we felt it was a home away from home. Patricia helped us organise a last minute hot air balloon ride that we needed help booking. She is a wonderful warm and friendly person. We felt comfortable with her from the moment we arrived. Her other guests were so lovely too.

Le Clos Mony is a property full of character with a great hostess. Patricia was helpful, friendly and accommodating. The rooms were tastefully decorated and comfortable with views over the meadow. Great location, close to many of the local points of interest. Breakfast area and garden were very nice.

Room is basic, no TV, no coffee in the room, no air conditioning (not that we needed it). Missing a bath math as well.

A great place to stay in Chenonceaux. Quite and well-decorated place with an amazing breakfast with natural products made every day by the owner. Super helpful staff. She helped us with the best castles to visit and the fastest routes.

A thoroughly enjoyable but too brief vacation.

Our host Patricia was very informative and welcoming, her spirit (joie de vivre) and local knowledge helped us to make the most of our short visit. Within easy reach is the magnificent chateau and several excellent restaurants. The en suite room was well equipped and clean throughout. The breakfast served in the conservatory is highly recommended. Car parking is conveniently situated close to the property and free.
