Everything was good, except the hotel was understaffed. There was only one person there, and he was working very hard, cheerfully, with a great attitude. But for a sizable tourist crowd, they need more than one person. The front desk was supposed to be open at 8 AM. But no one answered the phone and nobody was physically there until about 4 PM.

We were able to check in without any difficulty. The property was very clean. The rooms were welcoming and comfortable. The hotel was close to restaurants, castles, and bakeries. The hotel was safe. There were some accommodations for food at the hotel, however, we did not visit the eatery. Thank you for housing us for our France vacation.

Convenient to Chenonceau Castle, but you have to drive to get there. Hotel was quite pleasant, but remember that there is no air conditioning (like most places in France). We opened our windows at night during our stay in late July and were able to sleep reasonably comfortably.

This was one of the best places we stayed on our vacation through France and Spain. Loved the convenience of the family room but what made it exceptional was the owner of the property. He was kind, proficient, and caring. He laid out a beautiful breakfast and went above and beyond. This is the epitome of customer service! Stay here, you won't be disappointed

DO NOT PLEASE DO NOT attempt to stay in this place. The beds and pillows belong to the POMPEI era. We call this kind of bed CATRE. We reserved for 4 nights and after the 1st one we decided to leave and agreed with the owner/employee to pay the night we stay and one more as penalty. He agreed we paid and left. The following day he charged an additional night with the excuse that Hotels.com had not release the room so others could reserve it. I contacted Hotels com and the said it was not their problem that I had to talk to the Hotel. At the end I was charged 3 nights. That is the cost of doing business with this kind of places. Smoking smell all over. Ruined carpets etc etc
