it is comfortable stay with very nice breakfast.

The breakfast in the B&B is really good. The owner offer an hand made jams which were reall ynice. and nearly unlimited cheese yogurt orange juice tea o coffee. it is a small farm with i assume 5 rooms, and big dining room. it is very quite and safe. we came to visit castles around and we enjoy in our stay. bathrooms are clean, hot water all the time.

We loved having breakfast in the dining room with the other guests. It was a simple continental breakfast with freshly baked croissants and very good cheeses. I added some of my own fruit to the yoghurt and used my own decaffeinated tea bag!! Excellent wifi.

I'd hoped for eggs for breakfast as another reviewer mentioned eggs!! I was chilly in bed so used a rug I had in the car.

Perfect calm.

La Ferme des Bordes is in a beautiful, calm location. Try ultra fresh eggs option for breakfast, from the plumpest, happiest hens you will ever see. Fifteen minutes from the chateau at Chaumont sur Loire and its famous garden festival. Our second visit, wonderfully relaxing.

Lovely French countryside stay near Loire chateaus and gardens.

We had a lovely country stay here on our way to see a few chateaus and gardens in the area. Very friendly and welcoming people. Breakfast was great. Facilities are clean and comfortable.

Pleasant

The breakfast was very plentiful and good quality. We were also pleasantly surprised that our hosts adjusted our bill downwards, as we had to return early due to the poor weather conditions at home, this obviously caused some disappointment.

We would have appreciated tea/coffee facilities either in the room or in the communal area. The place itself didn't really live up to the photograph. The house is now surrounded by a metal fencing, not at all as shown in the picture, presumably this is needed to keep live stock/wild life out of the garden, all understandable, but less than inviting to the eye.

Good

The location was rural but ideally placed for visiting various locations around the Loire. A very large old farmhouse type property. Our hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful she offered to do some laundry for us and when asked supplied an iron and ironing board. We had an evening meal at the property which was very nice and eaten with our hosts and other french guests. This was fun as our French and their English were equally poor. Our hostess carried the evening with her English.

A small fridge in the communal lounge to put cold drinks in would have been very good. There was not any tea or coffee making facilities. It has to be said that during our stay the weather was very very hot, the rooms did not have any fans to help keep cool.

Les extérieurs mériteraient un petit rafraichissement. Taille du lit (ici en 140cm), manque de prises, pas de clim, pas de TV, pas de tapis de douche, insectes qui rentrent dés que l'on ouvre la fenêtre à cause de la chaleur, mal insonorisé. Le tarif n'est pas justifié pour le manque d'équipement.

Superbe logement

Cette ferme est parfaite , a moins d'une heure du château de Chenonceau, Chambord et du zoo de Beauval. Les propriétaires sont très serviables,de bon conseils pour dîner .petit déjeuner parfait et chambre très propre. Le lit est très confortable .

Certaines personnes n'aimeront pas le chant du coq si tôt le matin , mais nous cela ne nous a pas dérangé ( on est dans une ferme )

Excellent séjour, très convivial, très confortable et dans un environnement nature comme nous aimons

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, l'accueil a été super sympa, des gens vraiment très agréables, la chambre était très bien, il manquait peut-être juste une petite table (pour l'ordinateur), mais en confort rien à dire, nous avons pu profiter du jardin pour notre pique-nique du soir et nos hôtes étaient à nos petits soins. L'endroit champêtre est très agréable. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit.

Le calme du lieu,le petit dejeuner avec la propriétaire qui est tres gentille.

L’accueil du monsieur est á revoir ,il n est pas tres sympatique et plutot rustre. Il marmonne un peu ,il semble vous aboyer dessus parfois sans jamais un sourire ..Bref ca ne donne pas envie de revenir . C etait une resa de derniere minute c est peut etre pour cela ou pas … Heureusement sa femme est adorable ,et aux petits soins. La déco qui colle au style du lieu,le manque du luminosité sont dommageables. Il faudrait mr penser á faire quelques petits travaux si l accueil n est pas votre fort ,laissez cela á votre dame qui elle est digne d un hebergement de chambre d hotes . La douche est assez petite,et pour le coup ne pas avoir de télévision est un partit pris que l on peut comprendre ,en revanche une table bancale et une seule chaise peu confortable pour deux n est pas super fonctionnel. Il manque des prises ,on doit choisir entre allumer la lumiere et charger son telephone.;) Le fait que la fenetre soit petite fait que la chambre est etouffante . Du coup tout cela fait que le rapport qualite prix est plutot mediocre ,mais á ce prix la mr peut du coup se payer un sourire grace á nous ;) Bon courage madame et merci . Si vous n aviez pas ete la ,je crois que j aurais depose une reclamation á booking ..

Restauration beaucoup trop loin, + de 10km et uniquement gastronomique car bistrot complet ! Jardin non soigné, douche très petite, sol de la salle de bain délabré et manque de TV ! Le tarif n'est pas justifié.

À recommander sans hésiter

Tout était parfait. Un accueil charmant, des lits très confortables, une chambre propre et spacieuse, un petit déjeuner digne d'un 3 étoiles, le calme. ! Honnêtement, c'est une adresse à recommander sans hésitation.

Un tout petit bémol était l'absence de sèche cheveux mais bon, cela n'enlève rien à ma note de 10.
