Exceptionally excellent.

We were standing for 5 nights strategically to visit the famous chateaus located in driving range up to 45 minutes one way. Everything has been excellent: the owners, the location, the breakfast, the thoughtful design of every single corner of the property. Special thanks for restaurant recommendations and booking dinners for us.

We should’ve had at least one more day to stay just to relax at swimming pool…

A Gem in Loire Valley

This was an amazing bed & breakfast. We were warmly greeted by the hosts, Patricia and David. Our Baroque room was beautifully decorated and even had a famous marble statue in it. You can tell that the hosts are professional designers based on the quality of the entire property. The evening wine and charcuterie we purchased was exceptional and David helped explain the origin of the prosciutto types. The breakfasts were also fantastic. Patricia also booked us a bicycle for the next day. We felt like we were staying g with family in just a short time. We were sad to have only booked 2 nights. As you can probably tell from this glowing review, we highly recommend this accommodation.

Attention to detail was extremely evident from everything at this property. The owners really make every effort and thought to make their guests welcome, relaxed and that they enjoy their stay. Breakfast was excellent also.

We had 2 nights in the Loges St Eloi and enjoyed it fully from the kindness of our hosts to all the details and comfort of the place. Should i come back in the future to continue my exploration of Loire Valley, there is no doubt i would book it again !

Superb

Excellent BnB for the ultimate french countryside experience! The hosts helped us get a rental car AND a reservation at a Michelin Star restaurant, Le Lion D'Or in Amboise. The property is clean, comfortable and relaxing with plenty of seating outside either on the porch, by the fire pit or out by the pool. The rooms are very spacious and seemed to have sound proof insulation. There were other guests there but we never heard them! Highly recommend for your stay in the Loire Valley!

La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica per visitare i castelli della Loira. La camera era dotata di tutti i confort. Abbiamo molto apprezzato la grande doccia e la macchina per il caffè. La colazione è stata ottima! Abbiamo provato una buonissima marmellata ai mandarini, ma l’offerta fra dolce e salato era veramente ottima. Una nota particolare meritano Patricia e David, simpatici e molto attenti.

Uitstekende voorzieningen maar de hartelijkheid ontbreekt.

Prachtige tuin, mooi onderhouden, fijne kamers, met name die op de begane grond vanwege het terrasje. Fijn zwembad, goede ligstoelen met parasols. Prima ontbijt.

We kozen deze accommodatie op basis van de reviews die vaak de hartelijkheid en gastvrijheid van de eigenaren bejubelen. Juist op dit punt waren wij teleurgesteld. Door de al dan niet uitgesproken reacties van de eigenaren voelden we ons bezwaard om dingen te vragen of te doen. Klein voorbeeld: wij wilden graag zowel thee als koffie bij het ontbijt, en kregen dit ook, maar ze gaven ons het gevoel dat dit niet de bedoeling was. Je verwacht op dit prijsniveau dat je in de watten wordt gelegd en dat miste. Het was afgemeten. C’est le ton qui fait la musique. We hadden een dag bij het hotel gepland om uit te rusten voor de terugreis. In de eetzaal stond dat je drankjes en borrelplanken kon bestellen, maar de eigenaren waren de hele middag weg, dus we konden niets bestellen.

Ons verblijf bij Les Loges de Saint Eloi was ronduit fantastisch. De kamer was niet alleen stijlvol ingericht, maar ook kraaknet en voorzien van alle comfort die je je maar kunt wensen. De sfeer in en rond het verblijf ademt rust, charme en authenticiteit! Een perfecte plek om helemaal tot rust te komen. Wat ons verblijf echter echt onvergetelijk maakte, waren de uitbaters. Hun warme ontvangst, oprechte gastvrijheid en oog voor detail overtroffen al onze verwachtingen. Ze zorgden ervoor dat we ons meteen thuis voelden. Een absolute aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar een unieke en hartverwarmende ervaring. Er is geen restaurant maar de uitbaatster helpt mee om een goed restaurant te kiezen en zelfs de boeking neemt ze voor haar rekening.

Jammer genoeg zat het weer niet helemaal mee (regen) maar het overdekte terras heeft veel goed gemaakt.
