RomeAsYouLike-Monti Experience 295

The apartment was excellent. Super clean, and provided everything we could ask for. The location was the best, 2 minutes from the Colosseum and 10 minutes from everything else, we all loved it and it made our walks easier since we had 2 babies with us. The rooms where away from each other and we did not bother each other with the night wakes. The kitchen as a separate room was very convenient big and fully equipped. We had an issue with one bathroom but they fixed it immediately when we mentioned it. We could not make a better choice for our accommodation. Highly recommended.

Close to the metro station and the coliseum

Need to clean better, the bathrooms were not clean enough

Location on Via Cavour was fantastic for our needs. Right next to Roman Forum and under 5 mins from Colosseum and Piazza Venizia. Loads of options for food drinks and gelato nearby in the Monti area. Also midway between Cavour and Colosseo Metro stops on Line B, 5 mins walk to each. There was also luggage storage places nearby which we used on last day as we had to checkout by 10am. Door key was in a lock box outside door. Got a message on day of arrival with instructions and lock box code. All very simple. Apartment is on 2nd floor so up 2 flights of stairs - no lift. Apartment itself is very big lots of space for family of 5. Both bedrooms have large double bed and living room has double sofabed. Separate kitchen with everything you would need. 2 huge bathrooms both with showers, both recently renovated. Good A/C in both bedrooms and a floor fan in the living room. We were cool enough even in 35 degree July heat. We had minimal contact from host - just message with instructions before arrival, there was a whatsapp number if needed. That was fine for us as we didn't have any major questions or issues.

The plug sockets were a bit unreliable. Some didnt work , at least with travel adapters. At one point the light and sockets in one of the bedrooms stopped working completely. This wasn't a huge problem for us but we let the host know and next time we arrived back it was working fine again although we had no message from host - assume they fixed it somehow.
