Very good, ultra central, comfy place with a vintage vibe

This is a very nice accommodation right in the middle of the town and very helpful staff and very nice rooms, I don’t know why ist call an hostel because it’s like a hotel, but overall I really liked my stayed and I will definitely come back because it’s very good high standards and low money

Fair and square. Excellent for a one night budget sleepover.

City center proximity, easiness of check in and check out, excellent value for money. No bugs or bedbugs as you might see in some reviews. Maybe they stepped up they hygene🤷‍♂️

Nothing to dislike you just have accept the conditions that are fair but not excellent for the price you pay and for the hostel excellent position.

It's Amazing for 1-2 Nights stay

Staff are so welcoming and it's close to the city center and also the mall is just 15min by walk and the main squares are just 5min to 10mins by walk, Room is clean and it has AC also towels

there's a lot of birds since it's an old renovated building in city center they are trying to preserve it but sometimes birds make the hallway or stairs messy and sometimes you won't find no one in the reception so you need to take all information needed regarding your stay since the biginning

Ok but definitely needs investment to bring premises up to standard.

Staff were excellent and helpful. Reasonably clean and we had airconditioning which helped a lot and made a big difference.

This is not a hostel even though they call themselves Hostel Cornel. There are no kitchen facilities though the manager did provide us with a kettle. Room only had one small size sheet to cover 1.5 person across the queen size bed .. we were a couple. Even though there was mould ard the bottom shower rim basin it was ok, not smelly. No lift so expect to walk up 2 flights of stairs.

Ideal, and well-priced, accommodation close to the old city and transport links

Very simple and quiet accommodation that offers everything you need for a short stay. Welcoming and helpful front desk manager (with excellent English). The rooms were large with a big bathroom and (thankfully because it was during the heatwave), air conditioning. Excellent location close to the squares of the old city but also very close to the bus stop at Bastion from where the E4 bus goes to the airport.

Location location location

The location cannot be faulted. It’s right in the heart of the city and perfect staging post. Had parking right outside the door when we arrived.

The rooms seemed to have a disparity between what was available and what wasn’t. My friends room had a fan, a desk, towels… mines had a small fridge with nowhere to plug it in. No towels. No fan. Made for a really uncomfortable night.

I would not stay again but the location is good

The location is good and at first sight it seems clean.

There were stinm bugs in the toilet, coming from the wall and the light in the bathroom did not work. Also when you are showering the bath is clogged and it is flooding. We said to receptionist but they did nothing about it. Also bathroom and toilet is separated , so you do have door just for toilet , not for bathroom.

Unusual rooms around central atrium close to the centre.

Unusual place which has rooms around a central atrium, easy to find on a main road just north of the centre. After an initial issue with being given a room that hadn't been cleaned, contact with the reception (via whatsapp as was closed) was quick and was allocated a new (nicer!) room, so all good there. Room was warm, everything worked, all good.

The initial "wrong room" allocation although that's a simple mistake and was quickly rectified.

Restaurant of hostel is awesome. Very nice stuff. Large, clean room

The room didn`t have window or conditioner. So at +40 it was impossible to breathe inside, I woke up several times at night to breathe oxygen from outside the room. Probably at spring or autumn this is ok, but at summer it felt like torture. Nevertheless tasty meal at restaurant make all this inconvenience a bit less horrible.

Great location, old smelly rooms

Very well located, close to main attractions in the old town Nice graffiti on the walls and charming common area with bar and outdoor sitting

The room smelled bad (moldy historical building). The hostel keeps the room doors open to ventilate, so you don't feel the smell straight away, but once you close the door it becomes pungent The bathroom and facilities were OLD (unless you like "communist era" retro charm, I would say these were substandard) I got bitten several times while trying to fall asleep. It felt like it was coming out of the blanket so I put it aside. It wasn't a mosquito, as there was no buzzing I had booked two nights but only ended up using one night. I changed accommodation in the morning

Very nice hostel in Timisoara, with AMAZING localisation (2 min by walk to Piata Unirii), very lovely design, I felt like in Cuba almost. Comfortable beds and very nice and helpful lady at the reception
