Bissa Villa

One of the nicest families we met in Sri Lanka. They were very informative and we truly enjoyed our talks with them. The accommodation is a bit far from the city but that didn’t bother us at all, quite the opposite since we felt very relaxed and enjoyed the peaceful location. All the staff went far and beyond to accommodate our requests. The rooms were clean and spacious and we enjoyed a lot our time at the pool (specially our kid). We’d definitely would come back and can recommend to everyone !

It’s close to the train tracks, so at night the honk can wake you up 🤣 but it only happened once

It was our first accommodation in Sri Lanka. We came directly from the airport of Colombo by a private transportation provided by the hotel (paid apart with good price and good driver). The place is a wonderful gem hidden in Habarana close to the town in a few minutes in tuk tuk and also close to important touristic point BUT surrounded by nature. There were monkeys in the place, butterflies, rabbits, also they told us in the night elephants sometimes appear to eat their gardens. The place is perfect and very high quality detailed accommodation in comparison with Sri Lanka’s standards. Their owners are truly good people, all of the workers are well educated and always with a smile, you easily are happy and relaxed here.

The only thing if that you have to take tuk tuks to go everywhere but they provided us with a tuk tuk driver with plenty of experience and we felt secure

The family are so welcoming and the animals and beauty of this place are amazing . The food was delicious and eating looking out at the views and train line was a wonderful experience.

Nothing

The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Kaushi volunteered to take us for a walk through the paddy fields and introduced us to the station master at the local railway station. A real throwback.
