The apartment is in a great location, walking distance to everything! We did have some issues with figuring out how to flush the toilet (you have to push the button/flusher repetitively until it flushes) and the breaker but apartment owner was really quick in response to rectify the issue.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor and no lift so it was a little difficult to carry the luggage up.

A very nice and charming apartment. It was right in the heart of the city, so getting around was fairly easy. The rooms were comfortable, had an AC. Everything was clean and the host was kind and helpful.
It's not necessarily a downside, but it's just something to keep in mind if you are thinking about travelling by car. Since parking on the street is not allowed, you have to leave the car at a nearby private parking, which was kinda pricey. So just keep that in mind. Otherwise, the accommodation is perfect!

The location of the apartment is very good, right in the center of the city, easy to walk all around the main old town of Florence. Everything you want to see if close by.
A bit too dark, not extremely clean and when we got there it was quite cold. We turned on the heating, but it took the place 2 days to warm up.
