The apartment consists of entrance hallway, large living and dining room with light fireplace, all in classic contemporary style that overlooks the Via Dante Alighieri, from the windows you can see monuments such as the Palazzo Signoria; equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine; bathroom with shower and turkish bath; three bedrooms including a very large master bedroom with small living room and sofa bed; double room with private bathroom; a double room; lovely big bathroom with Jacuzzi; utility room and laundry; upstairs terrace with incredible and panoramic city views. The apartment is on the fourth floor with no elevator (we are happy to help you with your bags).

Location and rooftop view - everything was excellent during our stay. The view from the rooftop was spectacular, and the 87 steps to get to our apartment on 4th floor was worth it and a nice counter to the abundance of daily pasta we consumed! Our host was welcoming and informative. We did have a minor miscommunication on the meeting time and our apartment was not available until 4 pm due to delay with the cleaning service.

Perfect location with three large bedrooms, three full baths, living room, full kitchen and great roof top patio with room for eight seated comfortably and direct, close Duomo and Tower full lateral view. Really 5 star.

We loved our location. In the heart of Florence we found a spacious accommodation. Everything we needed was right downstairs. A market, restaurants, gelato, etc. The five flights of stairs were not for the faint of heart but we did it each day. We basically lived comfortable for 8 days. We were walking distance to everything. The rooftop terrace was amazing. We enjoyed drinks and appetizers up top when weather permitted. I will say we did have noice A few nights with partying going on. It didn’t deter us however. A very good place to stay if you can handle the stairs and we did! Thank you.

This was the second time we stayed at the Dante Roof Terrace, and I would recommend it to anyone going to Florence on vacation. It is ideally located between the Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio. The apartment is on the top floor of the apartment building, and it has an amazing roof top terrace. The location could not be better. There's a large grocery store right next to the apartment building, which is located on Via Dante Alighieri - a side-street near the Via Calzaiuoli (the main high-end shopping street). There are wonderful restaurants and bars within feet of the apartment. While I have no reservations recommending the Dante Roof Terrace, it is important to note that there are several flights of stairs to reach the apartment. It's certainly worth the climb because it gives you access to the roof top terrace. However, it would be a difficult climb for someone who has mobility issues. Finally, a minor complaint, it was ridiculously hot in Florence at the end of June, almost 100 degrees F. We hiked from the train station with our luggage (backpacks), and we were met at the bottom floor entrance and climbed to the top only to discover that the air conditioning had never been turned on that day. I know it's not their fault that it was so hot in Florence, but there was no excuse for not turning on the air conditioning before we arrived. The woman who greeted us was just sitting out front waiting for us. She could have simply gone up to the apartment and tuned on the air conditioning. I would definitely stay in this apartment again, no question. However, I learned a lesson. If it's hot in Italy the next time I'm on vacation here, I'll definitely call ahead to make sure they turn on the air conditioning.
