The property was in a great location with amazing view of Lion Rock. Location was within walking distance to everything. Clean with fan and air conditioning in the room.
Great cafes nearby and staff were fantastic.
All was good with the property, but male staff member was very pushy about organising transport to sites and other locations. Took a lot of saying no for him to understand that it was not required.

Stunning view of Sigiriya Rock from the communal area on the top floor. Very much a family run hotel and staff are very welcoming. Breakfast was great and really filling. They also offer an evening meal, which is good value at $10 but not upto same quality as the breakfast. Rooms are spacious, bed super-comfortable.
About 30 mins walk to downtown Sigiriya but only a few minutes in a tuk tuk. Has the advantage of having a washing machine where for around £1,20 to can do a full load of washing in 30 min.
Bees congregate near the outdoor lights at night and it’s important you don’t swipe at them as they can be vicious if provoked.

The staff was lovely and very helpful. The views from the rooftop terrace were beautiful.
The bed and floor were spotless but the room needed a deep clean.

Room 4 is a bit run down and needs some investment. The shower cubicle was old and claustrophobic. There was a leak in the bathroom that had created damp and mould in the wall near the bedroom so the room smelled musty.
Every magazine and appliance in the room is in Japanese.
A bit of a walk to the centre of town.
