The Green Heaven Resort

The hotel is located in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by beautiful birds and wildlife, yet it is within walking distance to the famous Lion Rock. Beautiful, authentic bungalows with only 8 rooms in total. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it felt very private and we never heard our neighbors. The territory is exceptionally well-maintained, and there is a clean, comfortable swimming pool. The bungalows are spotless, and to our surprise, there were absolutely no insects inside the room. Delicious breakfasts that included fresh smoothies. The on-site restaurant is great for lunch and dinner, plus there are other highly-rated restaurants just a short distance away. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The host helped us arrange all our taxis and excursions, and even used his experience to suggest great adjustments to our travel itinerary.

Will be relevant to any hotel in Sigiriya: Walking outside the hotel's territory after dark is strongly discouraged. Wild elephants roam the area at night, which can be very dangerous, so it is better to stay on the property or use transport

Het is wat gedateerd, zeker de kamers. Het hele terrein heeft wat meer TLC nodig. De tuinman verbrandt de hele dag dode bladeren maar de rook hangt in je kamer

Es ist eine schöne Anlage mit mehreren Häusern und Zimmern. Der Pool hat unseren Kindern sehr gut gefallen. Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und hilft bei Touren in die Umgebung und zur Safari. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wird frisch gekocht.

La gentillesse du personnel, qui nous a conduit partout où nous souhaitions aller et à tout fait pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. Beaucoup de considération pour les enfants.

Les crapauds dans les toilettes et dans la climatisation. De façon générale le Resort mérite un gros coup de rafraîchissement. La piscine n’était pas utilisable car sale.
