Hotel Sigiriya Kele

Very close to the rock fortress. As the name says "kele" standard in native for jungle it is close to one. Rooms are large and clean. the place is tranquil and peaceful apart for some loud guests next door. service staff is very friendly and experience in handling multicultural guests. Amenities were ok for the price . No refrigerator in room but provided a fridge in the common area for use. Dammika the owner was a fantastic guy. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He organised 2 excursions for a fraction of the the prices. We wish him and the Sigirya kele the best.

A fridge in the room would have been great to have some chilled drinks

Be prepared to catch tuk tuks everywhere , it’s not far but would be to walk

I went there alone. I'd like to mention one thing: there is a bald man who does massages. I would not recommend going to him because I found his behavior strange and uncomfortable. 😍Other than that, the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very good, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and it's a lovely place to stay. Staff is very gooood .
