Garrison Farm with Hot Tub

Was an absolutely fantastic stay, so good to get away from all the stress of the city and day to day life, views were amazing and the staff were super helpful with everything that we asked.

A truly peaceful and picturesque getaway! We enjoyed long walks around the surrounding woodlands and Loch Arklet (Loch Lomond is very close, too), and having a free hot tub to relax in afterwards was fantastic. The farm has a fascinating history, having been built by British Redcoats in 1719, which gives it a unique charm. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall, the room was clean, bed was comfy, shower was hot (enjoyed the towel warming rack).

After a long day walking the WHW, it was another 1.8 mile walk uphill to the farm. No signage, knocked on a nieighbours door and was redirected further uphill. The owner had notified me that she would be away and that there would be someone there in her place - upon arrival, I called out for someone and thankfully, another guest heard me and came out to show me that my room key was hanging on my door. The room was clean, bed was comfy and the shower was hot but no extras not even a tea bag. Instant coffee, kettle, toaster. I found tea bags and cereal in the shed along with a message asking for donations to help sustain her rescue animals- I feel that a tea bag should be the bare minimum when paying this rate for a night so I was not willing to pay anymore money so, no hot tea! Was unable to log into the wifi or operate the tv and only found the manual with instructions in the morning when leaving. I was looking forward to my stay but was disappointed.
