    We were heading to Macrihanish and this seemed the perfect stop off. I saw a few dodgy reviews on other platforms but our room was great, newly refurbished, spacious and clean. All windows open, wish the staff would crack the windows to allow them to air more, but easily done yourself. A tiny bit rough around the edges (thinking the rusty bin in the bathroom specifically) but overall great value.

    Subpar hospitality experience with poor level of service across the board: - Unstaffed Reception: Half the time we went to reception, there was no one there to assist us. Poor Dining Experience: During lunch, our server gave inconsistent information on the menu, abruptly disappeared while we were trying to place our order, and we found many of the menu items weren't even available. One of the dishes was quite bizarre in preparation as well, and made us wonder about the quality. - Basic Amenities Issues: Getting something as simple as standard, non-decaf coffee from housekeeping required going through multiple unnecessary rounds of hassle. - Property Damage: To top it all off, I was directed to iron room where the iron was completely blackened, which ended up tearing and ruining my dress. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff was laughing this away and blaming me for not using the iron appropriately. He had nothing to say when I showed him the state of the iron itself. Between the severe lack of reliable staff, poor restaurant service, and damaged personal property, I would strongly advise against staying here until management addresses these operational issues.
