The location, common areas, and everything was amazing!! I loved staying here and will definitely do it again. I also really enjoyed the breakfast I was able to eat prior to starting my hike.
I would have appreciated more electrical outlets in the rooms. I ended up charging my electronics in the lounge area and didn't do that overnight. Other than that, everything was great!!

Dinner was lovely and excellent portions for people walking all day. Stunning location overlooking lake in lounge. Staff very friendly and helpful too.
Very few facilities in room and beds very functional.

Cheap
The hostel is about a 15-minute walk past the end point of the day trail. I’ve stayed in many hostels before, but here it felt like there was minimal effort to create a good guest experience. The doors were squeaky and too heavy, and there was a bad smell coming from everywhere. Overall, it wasn’t a pleasant stay.
