Beautiful studio in a remote area. It was spotless and had everything you needed. Tea / coffee/ biscuits/ fruit all supplied.

It was a little cool in the room at times but maybe because the weather was so so bad outside too. It would not put me off staying here and I'll definitely return

I was expecting a much better experience.

The house itself is lovely, very tidy and well equipped, and the host gave us a warm welcome. house looks great, the issues we had made the stay far from positive.

Overall, our stay wasn’t great. On the night we arrived, it was absolutely freezing, with a wind chill of around –5°C. Inside, the place just wasn’t heated enough for us. The heater even switched off while we were there, and we couldn’t adjust anything because it was locked with a password. That made the whole experience really uncomfortable from the start. On top of that, the boiler didn’t handle two showers in a row. After my wife showered, the hot water was completely gone. It ended up being one of the worst showers I’ve ever had, and I spent the whole night shaking with the cold. Another disappointment: I had arranged a small surprise for my wife, as we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary. The host mentioned she’d sort something simple for us at no extra cost, but when we arrived, there was nothing at all. It might seem minor, but it meant a lot to me and I was really hoping for a special evening — which unfortunately turned into a disaster. Even though the house looks great, the issues we had made the stay far from positive.

Location was far from the city in a beautiful area. Staff arranged for an easy check-in despite our 6 a.m. arrival time (we booked the previous night). Great communication with host.

Very narrow road leading to the property. I was lucky I didn't meet any vehicles coming the other way. That was my first time driving in Ireland and I learned later that this is "normal". Not for the faint-of-heart! :-)

Beautiful lodge, excellent amenities and great property

Second time booking this accommodation. Siobhan keeps the place clean and beautiful and complete. Basic amenities were provided, kitchen with stove, microwave, washing machine, fridge etc. The property is located on a beautiful mountain area. Quiet and tranquil. Beautiful drive to get there and pretty convenient to get to town. A few minutes drive the nearest supermarket etc. Not to mention, lovely owner, Siobhan responds very quickly and assists any queries one might have. Thank you Siobhan

Quiet and secluded

It was clean, the bed was comfortable and parking is on site. The actual place where you stay has a shared sitting/kitchen area with ensuite bedrooms either end. It is also found down a narrow road. There is a good pub about 10 mins drive away. We stayed here at the end of our trip around Ireland prior to heading to the airport and it was perfect for this.

This is as good a place as I've ever stayed.

This was one bedroom in a 2-bedroom house, with a shared, fully-equipped kitchen, including laundry machine. It was easily the most useful of the 10 places we stayed during our trip. The location is slightly remote if you don't have a car, but perfect if you do.

A great rest stop between Dublin and the mountains!

Love the scenery driving up to this spot! Location is great for a first rest stop between Dublin and Wicklow National Park. The host was flexible with our arrival time which was appreciated. The apartment was super cute with a nice clean kitchen and dining space, cozy beds in the bedroom, and a couch area.

Pleasant short stay, but the shower needs renovation

The accommodation is set in a beautiful location surrounded by nature at 360 degrees. I wish I could stay one more day and explore a little more in depth. Reasonably priced considering the insane accommodation market in Ireland. Very calm and quiet.

The little apartment was clean, but there was some evident mould inside the shower which besides not being very nice to look at it, it is very unhealthy. When I arrived in the accommodation it was a very cold day. I was told that the heating is set and cannot be changed from inside the room.

Peace, quiet, and lovely countryside.

The owners were friendly and informative. I was especially grateful for the suggestions for an evening walk and for driving away the next morning (they suggested a scenic route that would avoid traffic). The room facilities were clean and adequate. The kitchen facilities were superb. The local area is glorious when there's a bit of sunchine and blue skies.
