Brand new home beside luas station and shops

Finding a reasonably priced place to stay in Dublin for 30 days was a challenge, but this room in Citywest was a good find. While it is located in far southwest Dublin, it is within easy walking distance of the Luas light rail, which made commuting into the Dublin City Center and exploring the local area incredibly easy. The room itself was compact but had everything I needed, including a very comfortable twin bed, a desk, and a chair. Even though the bathroom was shared, it was never an issue. A special thank you to my host, Yemi, who deserves a 10/10 for his graciousness and hospitality. He checked in often to ensure I had everything I needed. This was the perfect, comfortable base camp for finding my way around Ireland. Highly recommended for anyone with similar needs as mine.

Bedroom was on the 2nd floor of the townhouse. Not a problem for me, but might be a consideration for someone else. Plus Yemi carried my luggage upstairs for me!! Light rail was between 700-800 steps, not bad, but I made sure I only had to do once a day. Any time I wanted to get to Dublin Center, I had to allow 30-45 minutes on public transportation to get around. Not bad when you have 30 days, but could be a consideration for some. Otherwise, it was great to be out further where it was quieter and the energy not as frenetic as it was in Dublin Center with all the people and tourists. I did not use the kitchen or spend much time in the living room where I stayed, but I could have if I wanted to have taken advantage of them.

Very convenient locationwith an easy connection to city centre . Friendly, helpful and accommodating host. Simple ,but quiet and very comfortable room in a lovely house I would be very happy to stay there again .

The place is new, clean and comfortable. The host and his girl friend are both very kind people. The communication with host is perfect. He replied all my questions promptly. The room also has a working desk and brand new chair with wheels. The room and bathroom are both clean , spottless. When I got home, l was tired, very cold and wet.The landlord immediately gave me a pot of tea, offered me some biscuits and heated my room with a brand new a very high a quality heater. Since l was very cold during the day, he changed my quilt, he gave me a new larger and heavier winter quilt and changed all the duvet covers accordingly. Everything in the kitchen and common areas is new, clean and modern. About transport the luas station is close to house but Cheeverstown Luas Stop is closer than Citywest Campus Luas stop.The street and houses around the accommodation are all new and gave you a safety feeling. But overall of everyting, the host and his girl friend are very kind and good people. THANK YOU...
