Amazing place to stay!

The view is amazing! The host was so friendly and kind, even though we arrived a little later, she was so welcoming and nice. The accommodation was very spacious and had everything we needed.

We walked from Sanremo, took us about 1hr 20 and the hills up are quite steep, it was our own fault as we didn't have a car, it is possible to walk but a car is recommended. Nothing against the property it was perfect!

Good value.

The apartment was extremely clean, it looked new and it was quite large; better than I had expected. Parking was just over the road. There was a handy little bar 5 minutes walk away where you could pick up a sandwich and a beverage. The host was very friendly and helpful. Views from the property over San Remo to the Med.

I would have liked to see a chopping board and some bigger knives in the kitchen. Like most places away from the immediate coast the road to the property was very winding but it was not treacherous.

Nothing really! One thing to always keep in mind if you are coming by car is to ignore the GPS after you leave the toll and go to Sanremo city center, then walk your way from there to the place.

It was a pleasant stay.

I especially appreciate the caring of the hostess. The hotel is located in a peaceful place in the hills. Everything was excellent: bed, room, breakfast etc. It's recommended to visit the local Foodtruck a few turns back in the street. It's has an amazing panoramic view, specially in the evening.

Perfect for us!

Sanremo was one of our best vacation, in part thanks to this location and the friendliness of Beatrice and the nice lady who prepared the breakfast (sorry for not remembering the name)! Stayed for two weeks, it's an absolute relaxing and quiet place, with great views to the sea and mountains. It's located in the hills at about 8 km from the beach; we've only used our road bikes to go to the city and beach (and from there taking the amazing pista ciclabile to other locations on the coast); it's a bit of climbing getting back, but totally worth it when you finally reach it and enjoy the quietness and a cold beer :-) The breakfast was good, the kitchen very nice and fully equipped, so you can easily prepare your own. Great room, great bathroom, and a really nice bed! Grazie mille per il bellissimo soggiorno!

Die kleine Unterkunft liegt an einem Berghang und hat dementsprechend einen terassenförmigen Garten.

Eine sehr aufmerksame und nette Gastgeberin, die bei der Ankunft auf uns gewartet und alles gezeigt bzw. erklärt hat. Der terrassenförmige Garten ist ein "Träumchen" ... sogar mit kleinem "Fischteich" vor der Terrasse. Die Räume waren klein aber sehr gepflegt. Die Küchenausstattung entsprach der Beschreibung. Es gab zusätzlich zu dem "normalen" Parkplatz noch einen 2ten Stellplatz, der allerdings nur über eine sehr steile Auffahrt erreichbar war ... dann aber deutlich näher an der Unterkunft ist, was das Be- und Entladen des Auto's deutlich erleichtert.

Der Garten ist zwar (fast komplett) umzäunt, so dass unser Hund hätte draußen sein können. Da aber recht viele "freilaufende" Katzen auf dem Grundstück wohnen ging das dann leider doch nicht. Unser Hund schlägt bei "Katzen-Sichtung" leider sofort an ... Die Anfahrt von Sanremo zur Casa di Elda ist länger als vermutet. Wir brauchten jedes Mal beinahe 20 Minuten, da der Weg eine enge und serpentinenreiche Straße ist. Leider war auch das "Gassi-Gehen" mit unserem Hund beinahe unmöglich, da alle Wege "privado" sind und die verbleibenden Straßen sehr steil und eng sind, so dass man mehr damit beschäftigt ist, auf die Autofahrer zu achten...als mit dem Hund zu spazieren.
