Amazing view in Menton

The view is amazing and Jennifer is very helpful and nice. I traveled with my 20 months old son and booked in the morning (moving from another accommodation in Menton). Everything was ready for us even with a very short notice. Small things that make it nicer: Jennifer had prepared some cake, coffee and orange juice for us. Everything was set and welcoming. The apartment is cleaned and has everything you need in it, the access with elevator is great, and the building looks really good.

The only downside was actually the noise. The windows are not that isolating, so you can hear everything on the street and the sea waves during nigth, which maybe can be something nice if you don't have a toddler who wakes up at 5 :) Also, it was a bit warm even if it was January, and when the sun shines, it can get quite hot inside (but we didn't use the a.c., seemed a bit too much for Jan). Anyway, everything else was great!

Top apartment in a top location

The apartment was just fantastic. I did have some high expectations because of the pictures and the location, but the apartment was even better than that - freshly renovated, designed with taste, and the view was just stunning. Every morning you could watch the sun rising through the windows drinking your morning coffee. The location is top, as you step out of the building you find yourself in a very nice long promenade that brings you to the old town within 10 minutes. Jennifer - the host - is super nice and friendly, she's your best source of the information about Menton. She is flexible about the check-in and check-out hours, if there is an availability, of course. We stayed around Christmas time, and we had got from her a tasty italian panettone as a gift. The parking place is in a private garage in 2min walking distance, the garage is safe and has enough space, so there's no need to worry if you drive something bigger than fiat500. We had an amazing time there, we hope to repeat it once again.

I was not very attentive while reading the apartment description, and I found out only by check-in that the bed linen is at extra cost 25 euro per person, so for us it turned out as +50 euro to the booking price. But there's a possibility to bring your own bed linen with you. For me it was something very new and unusual, as I have never met bed linen for an extra-cost before in the other EU-countries. But maybe it is just what happens in France, so please don't be like me, read the property description with fool attention.

Exceptional

The proximity of the apartment to the beach and all other amenities. Very clean and fabulous balcony with view. Menton itself is a delightful place to stay. Our host, Jennifer, was friendly, amiable, thorough and helpful.

Very pleasant, relaxing, and enjoyable.

Jennifer (the host) was charming, helpful, and enthusiastic. The apartment was very well appointed, and in an excellent position with superb views. Very good local restaurants and supermarkets.

For some reason we were initially unable to contact Jennifer on arrival - our mobile phone would not connect. The local cafe owner proved very helpful at this point.

wonderful stay in a great location with an awesome host

Jennifer’s apartment is located right by the water /beach and above a couple of cafes that opens early in the morning. it’s a short walk to the main train station and short walk to old town as well. it is nicely appointed with all the amenities that one would want. really nice sized fridge and she even stocked both still & sparking water for us. All the appliances are in mint condition and well stocked kitchen utensils as well as an espresso machines with plentiful of capsules if you so incline. towel warmer in the bathroom and nice rain forest shower head. also large closet and the balcony is just lovely!! The best part is our host Jennifer! she went out of her way to make us feel welcomed, checked in on us and spent her time looking up restaurant with specific food we are looking for and even called to make reservation for us and explained ahead of time what dish we were looking for to make sure we will get it. The check in and check out process is smooth when you communicate with Jennifer via WhatsApp
