The room was really clean and tidy, with a nice view at the church and the city. The shared bathroom was also really clean and big.
The location of the flat is great, very close to shops and the city center.
The only negative thing about the room is that it's slightly uncomfortable to go out every time to use the shared bathroom.
Also, the building is not very easy to access if you're travelling by bike.

Everything there is ok, location, room, bathroom- everything is clean. Perfect choice if you explore Cinque Terre or Portofino. Good contact and clear instructions from the owner. Big balcony with great view.
No fridge (how to survive in a hot country) or a small kitchenette, no chairs on the balcony, nothing to dry towels or swimming costumes.

Apartment is relatively close to the city center, once you descend the hill.
Plenty of space inside, though not efficiently used.
Shower works fine (with some caveats).
Kitchen includes a refrigerator and one functional knife.
Extremely difficult physical access: many stairs up and down, tight elevator, and no guidance from the host about alternative outside lift.
Layout feels like repurposed school corridor with closed-off cabinet-style rooms.
Kitchen setup is awkward: tea kettle must be used on the microwave due to outlet placement, making it hard to use the table.
Advertised for 7 people, but setup is not adequate — too few seats, tight space.
Shower spills water through the doors.
Poor host communication: no instructions for hot water switch, gate exit button, or parking.
Observed other guests getting locked in garden due to unclear gate mechanism.
Parking unclear and inconvenient; hosts provide vague or contradictory info.
Host ignored messages but became responsive only when asking for cash payment for taxes — questionable practice.

it has very good location, 12 minutes walk from the train station which is very pleasant as in Cinque Terre in general the trains are used very often.
it is also very close to the main road & city center with loads of bars and restaurants.
i liked the view from the room to the Church and the town itself.
- the info About self checkin came in italian. i had to contact the owners by whatsapp for the translation so that i can understand it well. but then they responded promptly. thou they never responded to the message About leaving money (for city tax) on the table in the room the day of check out - so i just wonder if they received them.
- the walls of the rooms are incredible thin, which means as we were Staying in the monterosso room we could hear every single word of the people accommodated in the bay window (each night they were having párty and we couldnt sleep at all). as the Windows are old (it is an old building) we can hear all the noise from the street.
- the bed is not the most comfortable one.
- they could provide at least the very little (1x1meter) fridge in the room. it would be very pleasant (just a recco).
