- Not well located for skiing if the slopes on that side are closed (not their mistake but it reduces the score on the location and value). We had to get a shuttle from the - Hard mattress

Wonderful chalet up the mountain, reachable by gondola. Great food, warm welcome, exceptional views

Lovely chalet with amazing views. The service was excellent - the host, Sylvia, is incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming, and helpful. The dinners (charged separately) were good value and delicious, well worth it, Excellent hiking right from the chalet in a spectacular world heritage listed region of the alps.

My main issue is with the booking.com website and listing for this chalet. The chalet is up the mountain and only reachable by a gondola that shuts at 5pm, followed by a half hour walk up the mountain to the chalet. The chalet had put this in the information about the chalet but booking.com only had this information in very small print right at the end of the listing so it was not at all obvious that the chalet can not be reached by car. It was only because I contacted the chalet earlier that day to double check the check-in time that I became aware of this situation and we then made it in time for the gondola. We would have been very stuck otherwise. Booking.com needs to make this clearer on the listing please.

Real mountain gem

The property is located in a beautiful spot, well worth the walk to reach it. Food and service was super nice too. We had a great time and will go back.

Excellent service. A winner as a winter hotel for sure!

Large bedrooms and spacious bathrooms that are modern but tastefully put together. The friendliness of the owner was amazing. I asked for an earlier breakfast to avoid getting caught in some rain on a hike the following day and she was very courteous about making that happen for me. I seemed to be the only guest in the hotel that night but dinner was still made available for me (and it was excellent too). I can imagine that this is an awesome hotel to stay in during the winter season when I imagine it is busier.

Wunderschönes Berghotel mit überaus freundlicher Gastgeber-Familie und Mitarbeitenden. Die Küche war sehr gut und das Frühstück zweckmässig.

Wenn kein Schnee liegt, ist die Lage nicht ideal (ca. 30 Minuten aufwärts von der Gondelbahn). Dies wird aber klar komuniziert und es gibt Angebote für Gepäck- bzw. Personentransport.

Wir haben das Hotel als Etappenziel auf einer Fernwanderung für nur eine Nacht gebucht, könnten uns aber durchaus vorstellen, länger zu bleiben. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die auf jeden Wunsch eingehen. Schön renovierte und grosszügige Zimmer.
