Cosy and peaceful stay near Mainz

Lovely place to stay close to Mainz. The property is beautifully maintained and in an incredibly peaceful and calm location. It's next to a church so you get the bells as well. The property was very well stocked with everything you need and more - with plenty of kitchen equipment for cooking, extra blankets, and comfy sofa. The hosts were friendly but it felt like we had our privacy. The property is well located but it is a way out of Mainz so commuting is required - with a bus it takes around 15-20 minutes or you can walk to one of the regional train stations. The property is about 10 minutes walk from some large supermarkets and there's some nice bakeries in the area also. I'd highly recommend this place if you are keen to explore the area!

The stairs up to the bedroom/kitchen are very steep and you have to duck - I don't think it would be easy for someone disabled or with mobility issues

Superb

The house is very clean, everything is new, there's lots of facilities and utilities in the house (one could technically live here permanently), there's a nice outside terrace on the first floor, it's very quiet because located in a cul de sac. Excellent internet and ample spaces to sit (good furniture too).

The house is unsuitable for someone with mobility issues. The kitchen and bedroom are upstairs and can only be reached via a narrow, slightly winding staircase (mind your head). Parking is on the street (free) but you have to look a little for a place.

One of the best holiday apartments we have ever rented.

House was aesthetically and comfortably appointed at the same time. Bed was large and comfortable. Location was extremely quiet. All the appliances and conveniences one could possibly need. Everything done right. Hosts gracious, friendly, helpful. We were without a car but found getting around by public bus very easy and convenient.

My partner moaned the lack of any English-language TV channels. BBC would be nice to include. Dining room was located on main floor, kitchen upstairs. Difficult to negotiate stairs with dinner plates. Since we were only two, we ate in the kitchen on the bistro-like table and chairs. Adequate for us, but impractical for a family.

Super Platz für einen Städtetrip

Hübsches Häuschen zur separaten Nutzung, direkt am Main/Rhein-Radwege-Netz. Man ist schnell in beiden Landeshauptstädten. Ruhige Lage, freundliche Gastgeber.

Etwas steile Treppe ins Obergeschoss und niedrige Räume, Personen über 1,80m müssen aufpassen!

Es war eine sehr schöne Unterkunft die sofort an einem Park zum Mainufer gelegen ist.

Sehr geräumig und sauber. Super nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter.

Die Küche und das Schlafzimmer waren in der ersten Etage. Es gab dort nur einen klein Bistro Tisch zum essen oder einen überdachten Balkon mit großem Esstisch.

Die Ausstattug war Top. Für unser Kind wurde Spielzeug bereit gestellt. Alle sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder.

Das Bett knirscht auf einer Seite. Mehrere Mülleimer für die Mülltrennung wären super.

Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen

Sehr charmantes kleines Häuschen im Hinterhof mit zwei Etagen, Bad und Küche perfekt und liebevoll im Detail eingerichtet (von Gewürzen bis Kosmetikartikel ist alles da). Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Im Wohnzimmer befinden sich Spiele. Es war absolut ruhig, die Betten bequem. Verkehrsanbindung prima. Man kommt mit dem Bus (quasi vor der Tür) in einer knappen Viertelstunde ins Zentrum von Mainz. Parkplatz kein Problem.

Das Schlafzimmer ist oben, das Bad unten. Die Stiege in den oberen Stock ist steil und man muss, wenn man größer als 1,60 ist, sich wie ein Skispringer nach vorne beugen oder irgendwie an dem Treppen-Vorsprung vorbeidrehen. Aber wir fanden das lustig. In der Küche kann man nur dann zu viert sitzen, wenn man ein bisschen rumräumt. Aber so ist das in alten, hergerichteten Häusern.
