Beautiful view, Comfortable clean apartment and a lovely host

The apartment was so comfortable, clean, and has both a big balcony and a terrace with the most scenic beautiful view we could have asked for. The view was wonderful even when lying on the bed or sitting on the sofa! Alexandra our host lives in the house in front of the apartment and greeted us with a smile whenever she saw us, and answered any questions we had about the town and gave us some lovely recommendations. She runs a little shop that sells beautiful handmade gifts that we bought to take back as souvenirs. She has really made our stay lovely and we would always recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the old town of Ohrid.

The property is on a hill and the view is absolutely spectacular! It is on the road toward the main attraction - the church St. Jovan Kaneo. It is private, with no noise, and lot of nature around! I truly liked the owner Aleksandra and her family, they were kind, generous, and always responsive. I intend to go back there.

I had an incredible time during my stay at this Airbnb. The highlight was undoubtedly the spacious balcony that provided a breathtaking 160-degree view of Lake Ohrid and the iconic cathedral. The host, Alexandra, was exceptional in every aspect, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. One of the standout moments was being able to witness the most stunning sunsets I've ever seen in my life, thanks to the perfect proximity to the best vantage points. This place truly offers a remarkable experience that's hard to forget. I will definitely come back and recommend to all my friends.

Anyone who is reading this comment, and thinking "should I get this apartment". Stop looking, and just get it. It is absolutely amazing. View is incredible, just IN CRE DI BLE. I was afraid also that this building would be in some rural place on a hill, but its not. Its in old town, close to the city center, but still far enough from all the noise. Little beach is just 5 minutes walk away. Rooms are new, with clean bathroom, kitchen, and very comfortable beds, 10 out of 10 for comfort. I was saying to my partner how if we booked this kind of apartment with this kind of view on lake Como in Italy for example, it would be worth like 200 euros per night or something like that. Host Alexandra and her father were lovely and very hospitable. Parking is reserved. Because in old town you are not allowed to enter with a car, you have a parking with a key for a chain for a parking space, its just 7-8 minutes away from your apartment, so you can leave and explore Ohrid lake when ever you want, and have reserved parking when you come back. Also, not to worry about 7-8 minutes walk from parking to apartment when you arrive. Alexandras father (Im sorry I cant remember his name), will drive you with his car to apartment (he can enter old town with his car), to help you with your luggage. Ohrid blew my mind how beautiful it is, and how affordable it is, and this apartment is a stunning apartment, would rate it 20 out of 10 if I could.

The huge patio and the panoramic views were amazing. I think the best in Ohrid. I would highly recommend this apartment. We had the studio which was perfect for us. It was the smallest of the 3 apartments but had the best outdoor space with fantastic views of the lake, St Johns church, the old town and the harbour. Small kitchen area but had everything you needed for basics. Aleksander the host was lovely. She organised our taxi to and from the airport for us. It was so peaceful. The apartment itself had everything you could want, plenty of towels, extra blankets etc, lots of small extra touches. Spotlessly clean.

Nothing to dislike but be warned there are a lot of steps if you have mobility issues. Short walk into the main square 10 mins with bars & restaurants on the way but quite steep on the way back. The views more that made up for it.

A place with a beautiful lake view

We rented two apartments in the same place and both were facing the Ohrid Lake and had a very nice view. The one bed room was well furnished and the studio had a very big terrace. Washing machine was available in the premises.

Everything was perfect except the location when coming with car. The streets a super narrow and there is omly a tiny car park next to Maslov Appartments and totall packed most of the time. Had I known this before, I wouldn't have tried to get there with my rental car., but left the car in the upper part town right away. Anyhow, as I said, apart from that all best.

Wonderful, neat accommodation with an even more wonderful view of Lake Ohrid in the magical old town. The hosts are very pleasant, hospitable and ready to enhance your stay. The environment is peaceful, quiet and full of greenery. It takes 5 minutes to the beach by foot.

Quiet, green, friendly, Ohrid old town

Alexandra is a really nice person and very curteous. The House is great positioned and despite some party noises from the city centre (on 2 days during our 6 nights stay) very quiet. The house has a great green garden. The apartment is really spacious.

The kitchen could be a bit better equipped but you find everything basic there to make an omelette! You won’t find yourself cooking so often anyways as there are great and inexpensive restaurants nearby. All in all this is critique on a very high level.

I wish I could live there

Location and view are incredible. I wish I could live in these apartments! Terrace is so large, so can sunbathe there with views over the lake and mountains and villages. It has everything on it: table, chairs, sunbeds, umbrella... Aleksandra is so hospitable, she gave me a bag with a towel and a mat when I went to beaches and she accompanied me, to show where the closest are - Potpesh and Kaneo. Today when checking out Alexandra gave me a little present and kindly suggested to give me a lift to the bus station, which is on the outskirts of Ohrid, and her father drove me there in his car.

A/c is not working properly, but it was not a problem for me, because I spent most of time on the terrace )))

It was magic

I'm almost hesitant to write the review because on one hand I'd like Aleksandra and her family to have as many guests as possible but on the other I would like to keep this gem of a place hidden from crowds :) This was one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Everything was just perfect - Aleksandra is beyond kind and helpful, the terrace of the apartment on the top floor has a breathtaking view of the Ohrid lake, close by there are two of the best restaurants in town, places to swim are just a short walk away. It's been over a week since we left and I still wish I could stay there for longer.

Everything about the apartment was just perfect (including an option to use the washing machine). Parking can be a challenge just because it's the old town but there's a really nice free parking just outside the gates of the old town.

The view is amazing! Host is so pleasant, going the extra mile. Location is in the old city, lovely if you want to visit all crucial historical sites. Also super calm and quiet, away from the busy center.

We were woken by the owners's dog a few times, barking loudly in the morning - it's a guard dog, so it's normal, but still a bit unpleasant. Also, this was not a minus for us, but there is a lot of climbing up and down, not going to be the best for kids below 5 that get tired easily, not stroller friendly. Also beaches around are with natural stones - we loved them and their cleanliness, but may not be for everyone.

Perfect in every way :)

The view from the terrace is probably one of the best in all of Ohrid! It's amazing! and is the main reason I booked this place. However I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything else was perfect too - the large windows that let lots of light into the room, the comfy beds, the spotless bathroom and super hot and powerful shower, the coffee/tea making facilities and snacks and the lovely host (I think her name is Andréa) who lives downstairs and is always on hand whenever you need her.
