Toby's Boathouse

Great quiet location a short walk from town with a nice view out the front of the tidal River Brede and countryside. Very well equipped with good cooking facilities and tv/sound system. Good easy parking. Comfortable bed and settee.

No problems.

Tastefully fitted out and decorated to a high standard with a comfortable bed and sofa. Amazing river views from the terrace. Location felt quiet and secluded yet only a 5-10 minute walk into the old town.

Nothing significant. I guess the internet connection was a little temperamental when sat out on the terrace but hardly an issue!

The information with the owner for the keys was given for the pre arrival

not a lot, it was described and freshly redecorated and bathroom refurbishment so we were pleased on the apartment

location outlook and parking great, so easy to walk in to Rye

Gives a poor appearance when arriving, the balcony decking and stairs are peeling and in need of wood treatment - compare with deck of apartment next door. This apparent lack of care reflected in the interior as well. cleanliness needs improving, dust on stair strings, stain in carpet. Mould around bath seal and peeled paint on window cill and popes in bathroom also leaves a feeling that attention is needed With some TLC and better furniture (the sofa and chair are old and covered with throw s) this apartment could really have the wow factor but not at present The lighting was gloomy luckily the weather was bright so the lights were not so much needed Heating and hot water efficient and easy to control (apartment is warm )\ Overall well equipped I have emailed the owners about some about some apparent issues
