17 The Boathouse

Extremely clean, comfortable, bright and well appointed flat with nice views on to the river and the facility to sit outside. Good range of information provided by the owners and a nice touch in providing some milk and a bottle of prosecco.

No complaints at all. Just to note that for some people the quite dark and unadopted roadway to access the nearby town ( 10 min walk) might be an issue for anyone with mobility issues or in bad weather, but not a problem for us.

Lovely environment, easy walk to town and all amenities

Nothing.

Good position. Easy walk into town and for longer walks. Facilities in the apartment were good. Bed was comfortable.

The shower head was surrounded by cobwebs and cobweb going out from the shower head to corner of the shower cubicle. Found a long arm duster and a step to clear it away. Items were dusted around rather than moved. eg tv box

Pleasant, modern decor and facilities. View pleasant in one direction not so much in the other (next to industrial unit)

It hadn’t been cleaned, dishes put away, bedding and towels changed after previous guests. The bed was lumpy and uneven in its support. When we spoke to the owner about the accommodation not being ready for use she said, “not again,” implying it was the first time her cleaner had let them down. We had to wait nearly 3 hours after the expected access time (16:00) for the property to be made ready.
