Cozy and peaceful retreat

Staff - extremely helpful and friendly! Location - in the middle of large park zone, with a pond, geese, ducks. Located on the territory of various medical institutions. Rooms - very comfortable, cozy, have a history, the design of the corridors is very special because of the past of the building. Toilets and showers - very clean and have all that you may need.

Everything was great, one of the best places I stayed this year.

I would not return there when the weather is cold

the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good

On arrival the room was unheated, while it was a very cold day. And when putting the radiator on it only became luke warm. It took hours of warming up. I was told they had a procedure in place to prevent this. However that did not happen this time. And i was only offered a blanket. Not another room

Nice place, but unfortunatelly no sustainable approach during breakfast

Location, design and facilities- you can take coffee from the coffee machine whole day long.

It’s a pity that they don’t have a bit more sustainable approach during breakfast. Every piece of cheese or ham was packed in a separate plastic bag…

It was okay. Drinks machine available 24/7. Clean

Breakfast not up to much. Long walk to the bus stop to get down town. No alcohol allowed in your room ( we like a tipple whilst getting ready for the night life ) Quite noisy due to the residents of the mental support units on the grounds

A relaxing place to stay

It is surrounded by greenery which is fabulous. The B&B has tea/coffee all day and you have access to the kitchen to cook your meals which is great. Breakfast in the morning is delicious and staff are very friendly as well.

Because the B&B is located on the first floor of a building where mentally ill patients stay below, I could hear from under my room someone screaming at night quite frequently.

Very nice place

The hotel is located in a very quiet area. It only takes 15–20 minutes to cycle to the centre of Eindhoven. Breakfast was excellent. The good thing is that you can park your car for free in the area around the hotel (sometimes there isn’t space right by the hotel, but you can usually find a spot nearby). The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very noisy doors. You could hear people talking in corridors all through the night. Sound of doors slamming shut woke me up several times during the night.

A nice relaxing place to stay for a night or two

The place is situated in greenery which makes it very quiet and calm. We had a very nice room with shower and toilet on the first floor. Breakfast is very nice

It is oddly situated within a mental health care facility, so main entrance doors are locked at all times which is a bit scary at first.

A great step into the unknown

Having done no research about the location of the B&B it came as a pleasant surprise how quiet it was around it and how large the walking area about it is.

The establishment can't be responsible for local food options so this is a helpful hint rather than a criticism - the nearest store is about a ten minute drive (estimated as I walked) so get your snacks in before you arrive.

Great short stay

Nice location next to woodland. Easy enough to get into the centre by bike. Perfect for a short trip with enough space from the bustle. Good breakfast and space in rooms.

My Amazing Stay

Loved everything about B&B Landgoed De Grote Beek. It was amazing. The staff and facilities and atmosphere was wonderful. I did not feel like I was a stranger in a hotel with many others it really was a home away from home. It was a pleasure to stay here and a hidden gem. I want to go back and take my family as this time I travelled alone. And the lady prepared me a breakfast to take away since I had an early flight Monday morning. And the lady was so awesome. I took the wrong adaptor with me but the B&B let me borrow one. Thank you guys so much.

Transportation was very comfortable by bus. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms and showers. Breakfast was delicious and sufficient. Being able to get hot drinks like coffee all the time and a comfortable sitting area. Thank you for everything, it was very enjoyable.

Nice B&B

Very quiet location with ponds and ducks, beautiful bright room, luckily had my own toilet, super friendly staff, kitchen with free coffee/tea, good breakfast.

Public transport (bus comes only twice an hour), you can hear other guests going up the stairs (can be loud).

Quite and peaceful

Very nice green area, peaceful, quite. A small farm inside the area with alpakkas and lamas so the accomodation is perfect for chilling and have a good rest. Cleanliness is perfect so do the breakfast. Big choice of Dutch cheese.

Toilet and bathroom is not in the rooms but we knew it in advance. Far from the city centre about 50 minutes by walk.

Great B&B with amazing stuff.

I was suprised in very positive way how nice, clean and good for a short stay this place was. Great location not far from the city and motorway make it easy to get in and discover around. It has got great breakfast area which at the evening you can use as a relax room. You can use fridge, Cooking machine, microwave, laundry machine for free. Stuff more than great nothing else to say. There is also beautiful park around. I read before that B&B its on the menthal health hospital property but you couldn't spot anything what can disturb your stay.

Next time I would rather stay in a room more far from reception as for not morning person like myself it was bit loud in the morning when other quests was leaving. Overall solid 9.5/10

Beautifully furnished room and shared spaces. Our room was very clean and came with bath robes which was a lovely bonus. Location is nice and quiet, with nice walks through the park. Breakfast was delicious! Free tea and coffee in the common area at any time. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommended

The hotel was well-maintained, clean, located outside the city center in a green area (only 5 km from the airport). There was a permanent access to the kitchen (including the coffee corner). I needed to leave before a breakfast and the staff prepared a takaway breakfast box for me, which was very kind.

The rooms are situated along the wide hallway which was quite busy (in the middle there was a reception desk). My room was the first one from the main door and I could hear everyone going in and out. Toilets and bathroom were on the opposite side and to take a shower you had to walk all the way in.

Not for holiday

Beakfast ok.

In fact, this is an old pavilion from the mental hospital, wich was renovate and transformed into an accommodation unit. At the entrance there are some steep stairs whithout possibility of an elevator for large luggage. The rooms have a large window în the ceiling through whicht the light from the hallway enters during the night. Unconfortable mattresses. The people here try to be nice and helpful , but the feeling of a hospital and of insecurity remains. It is definitely not a holiday accomodation. I did not imagine that an accomadation unit can work in the midlle of a mental hospital. It is not clearly specified that it is one of the hospital`s pavilion simply transformated into acoomodation. Everywhere i saw a lot of disoriented people. I think that this accomodation is especially for those who need treatment or for their companions.

The breakfast was consistent and delicious. The location is surrounded by a small forest. The staff is very profesional and friendly. The room very clean. You can reach the location by bus-number 8 bus Acht.

Clean, nice location

The property was very clean. There was a kitchen, fridge and a coffee machine. My room was very tidy. I’m sure that I would enjoy a longer stay, as I was there only for one night. I definitely recommend.

I asked if I could have my breakfast a little bit earlier (15 minutes earlier) because of my early flight. However, my request was declined
