Better than my expectations, I would recommend this place to anyone considering Eindhoven

Interesting design and building. The room was large and well designed. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and the restaurant was good quality.

A/C didn’t seem to do anything and I would have liked a thinner duvet option.

Art and design led hotel with a great vibe!

Funky eclectic decor and each of the 14 bedrooms is decorated by a different artist. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are spacious. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed a great breakfast. The wonderrooms and showroom are definitely worth a look.

We had a kettle but no coffee making facilities.

been here before, and definitely had the same great experience. Staff very friendly. Dinner, up in the lobby was very good. The terrace very comfortable. Wanted to have an early breakfast, before 08:00, and staff was very helpful to serve some yoghurt and a great coffee. Will definitely return

No Rest, No Return – Disappointed After Many Good Stays

The welcome at the hotel was friendly, and we were personally shown to our room. However, we were a bit surprised when the hotel staff mentioned that a new air conditioning and ventilation system had been installed last year – and that we had been given the loudest room (room 2). We were told we could pick up earplugs if we had trouble sleeping. At that point, we assumed we could simply turn off the system, which would have been totally fine for us. But when we returned to the room later that evening, we were shocked by the volume. Sleeping in that room was absolutely impossible – even with earplugs. Around midnight, we asked for a different room and were given one. While still uncomfortably loud, it was at least bearable with earplugs. However, I believe it’s a basic expectation to be able to sleep in a hotel room without needing earplugs. We decided to check out the next morning, earlier than planned. The hotel refunded us for the second night, which we appreciated. However, there was no further compensation – we were told the replacement room was considered an upgrade. Unfortunately, this level of service was disappointing. We’ve always loved staying at the hotel because of its beautiful design, but restful sleep is a basic expectation – and one that wasn’t met this time. Thankfully, we found a great alternative for our second night, which we will likely choose in the future. It’s a real shame, especially since other guests have reported the same issue. It seems the management is well aware of the problem, but nothing has been done to truly resolve it. Earplugs are not a solution!

Great design. interesting solutions. restaurant is quite good and open for lunch. Location is acutally convenient (next busstop to center is 800m.)

The bathroom is very spacious, but there is only a small designer sink and hardly any area to put stuff. I was alone, so no problem, but... Breakfast needs cucumber and cereal (müsli). A station for rental bicycles should be there - maybe one of those companies can be persuaded to do so.

I loved staying here! It was a paradise for me

People from there were so kind. They empathized with us and helped us with whatever we needed. Also, we had a delicious vegetarian breakfast and enjoyed a quality sleep because the bed was comfortable and the room was dark. I loved it.

The design features in the bedroom and hotel corridors were available to buy in the shop downstairs - if a little too expensive for us!

Comfortable and inspiring.

My father stayed the night there. Spacious, comfortable room and shower. Beautiful big windows and plenty of storage space. We joined him for breakfast. Delicious and varied. Home-cooked pancakes, eggs made to choice, wonderful selection of cereals and nuts. We enjoyed sitting outside on the open terrace. Barbara was wonderful, she made us all feel welcome and at home.

All was fine. The hotel was a little difficult to find at first. But likely us. Clean premises. and innovative design. We'd recommend this hotel.

It was my 2nd stay in this amazing hotel! Best location you can find in Eindhoven. You are immediatley immersed in the wonderful design, original work items of the celebrated designer Piet Hein Eek. I enjoyed much my stay and won't miss my next reservation there.

Everything was perfect. Since you arrive there they make things easier for you, also when it was not included. It was wonderful staying in a space that features so much re-purposing of materials and objects as a design feature. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Truly a unique experience also in terms of exploring the Strijp neighborhood.
