Perfectly located apartment which was extremely decent in size for a family of four.

This was a spacious property with seven facilities as listed when booking. It was close to everything.

Nothing particular - slight need of toilet and bathroom update but nothing that impacted our stay. Cosmetic really.

A bright and light apartment in good location but very dated

The location was excellent being a short walk from the train station and a five minute walk into the old town. You can see the tower of the stock exchange from the apartment. The apartment is spacious and light. We were able to park our bikes in the underground car park for the duration of our four night stay. There are supermarkets and patisseries within a five minute walk. Once the new paving and cycle lanes are complete in the street it will be very nice. Due to finish in early September but probably not until October. We were supplied with coffee. There is a washing machine (liquid provided) in the bathroom, an iron and ironing board and rack to dry clothes. Shampoo, body wash and little extras were supplied which was nice.

Two categories. Things they cannot change - the elevator was broken. It literally broke as we were in it and it wasn’t fixed when we left. I’m sure it will be soon but check before booking if you have any doubts as it’s 125 stairs up to 6th floor from the garage! After three trips out a day we had very sore legs and knees at the end of our stay. The smell of sewerage in the toilet. Luckily the toilet is separate from the bathroom so you can keep the door closed. This we believe is an ongoing issue and not just in the apartment but the entire city as it’s built on canals. Maybe because of all the rain, who knows but it’s abundant right now (August). Things that need changing - the buttons on the stove top and oven work but the temperatures have worn off so it’s difficult to use correctly. The bed quality is not good. We used the twin room because the double is low and small. The mattresses were not the best. All the furniture is very old. All useable but very dated. There are only two chairs on the balcony. The ironing board cover needs replacing - it was disintegrating and your clothes were marked with the metal lines when ironing. As there is no air conditioning, we opened the windows. We are surprised but we were bitten by mosquitoes - a lot. We actually squashed a few and there was blood. We then had to keep all windows closed at dusk so it was stuffy overnight. Didn’t think they would be as high as that. Unfortunately the French don’t use fly screens. Finally, Lille accommodation is expensive. We had over 33 accommodations booked in France including Beaune and this was the most expensive by far so we were expecting a bit better quality.

Excellent host and location

The suite is perfectly located for enjoying the centre of Lille. Just a few minutes walk to the main historic features and shopping area of the city. In addition, supermarkets are around the corner as well as a fine bakery. Finally the hosts are very nice, kind and helpful to make your stay even more pleasant!

Belle retrouvaille avec la ville de ma jeunesse et surprise "une ancienne camarade de classe" !

Emplacement parfait pour déambuler à pied dans le centre et le vieux Lille. Appartement très bien équipé, lits confortables. Commerces à proximité : très bonne boulangerie, fromager, supérette, etc...La gare est à une dizaine de minutes à pieds. Accueil très sympathique par la propriétaire qui nous a remis les clés, elle n'a pas hésité à nous fournir une foule de renseignements pour optimiser notre séjour dans cette belle capitale des Flandres. Je recommande vivement ce logement pour son confort et son emplacement idéal.

Prachtig verblijf voor een stedentrip Lille.

De locatie was perfect, in het centrum van Lille en toch geen last van druk stadsverkeer. De ruime woonkamer/eetkamer was ook prima. De slaapkamers waren ook ruim genoeg met opbergkasten.

De badkamer was wat krap, wel alles aanwezig maar enigszins krap. En op de wc was geen raam of ventilatie, dus de wc rook niet fris.

excellente adresse pour séjourner à Lille et découvrir la ville.

L'emplacement de choix : très proche de la gare, et le centre piétonnier commence juste de l'autre côté de la rue. Tous les commerces sont à proximité et toute la ville peut se visiter à pieds depuis l'appartement. L'appartement est au dernier étage de l'immeuble et, depuis le séjour et la cuisine, très belle vue sur le beffroi de la chambre de commerce et sur la grande roue de la grand place.
