Mixed opinion- liked location, but some aspects could be improved

Location was quite central, bathroom clean and shower good. Inner metal spiral stairs dark as new light bulb needed -owner did this on same day we reported it ( but we had to return to flat to photograph the bulb type needed for them and put keys back in box ) . Wi fi good but we had to ask for it to be turned on

We had some problems - Outer metal spiral entrance stairs dark but light couldn't be fixed as apparently not part of flat owners domain. Carry your torch to be safe! There was also a smoke detector somewhere needing a battery that beeped irritatingly every few minutes that also apparently couldn't be fixed by owner. The shop below is now boarded up - so don't look for its sign when looking for flat entrance. Not reassuring that one smoke detector in common entrance way was absent. Be aware the 2 flights of metal spiral stairs to entrance wouldn't be suitable for all and the lack of safety rail at top of inner metal spiral stairs not suitable if young children. You can hear next door flat too easily. Decor was a bit tired ( minor matters but main room lamp needed a dust and a blind was broken - all felt bit neglected). My wish list would include instructions where to find bedding for sofa bed, a full length mirror ( or indeed any mirror downstairs) and maybe an ice tray

The location is fabulous!

The separate toilet (downstairs without a sink) and shower upstairs is a bit of an issue. No washer. 50 steps up to the apartment (spiral staircase) is challenging.
