Fantastic and would recommend to anyone visiting Saint Malo
Apartment was well-equiped and in a good location. The hosts were great at keeping in touch and gave us all the information we needed.
The communal hallway was tricky to manoeuvre with suitcases and a pushchair.

Great location and super comfy staying!
The property is located in a neighborhood called Saint-Servan, about 25 minutes walk of the (main) touristic area, Intra-Muros. If you enjoy tranquility, you will like us found that a bless! If you stay in that part of the city you have the opportunity to experience the real Saint-Malo - the real food, the real people, the real way of life! A 900m walk will take you to Plage the Corbières, a small and quite beach surrounded by a exuberant nature! Don’t forget to check the tide before go there! To the La Citè (with gorgeous surrounds and great restaurants) you will walk about 15 to get there. We particularly liked more there than Intra-Muros. I’d like to address some of the latest reviews that we didn’t find fair! 1. The so criticized entrance: please understand that this is a ancient city with ancient constructions. First of all that’s not just about to make modifications as one wants. My second point is there are other apartments there, so the owner of ONCE of those apartments can’t take the responsibility for the gate (yes, it’s a bit tricky to lock/unlock but if you have patience and learn how to do it, there will be no issues). 2. Cleanliness: We found the apartment clean and ready to be enjoyed - lines, sheets, towels where on point; the floor and the other surfaces have any dust or stains. The fridge and oven where on point. Is some of the furniture worn and with few eventual stains? Yes! Indeed those have nothing with cleaning! Please have in mind that’s a rental apartment, landed out by a person, not a a 3, 4 or 5 stars hotel chain. 3. The complains about the bathroom mist drain smell: again: that’s a ancient city, the sewage is old, like very very old, and quite shallow and narrow. So my suggestion is: you just need let some water flow and that’s resolved. 4. We had any issues with noise, both from the neighbors or the street. 5. The bed was quite comfortable.
We have a couple of suggestions: 1. a thin curtain for the living room window would help have more privacy. 2. blinds in the bedroom, some people are very sensitive to the light, specially when it is summer time! 3. Provide a fan. Otherwise we were very satisfied!

It wasn't the accommodation I wanted for St. Malo, but the city is spectacular nonetheless.
The location of the apartment was quite ok.
First of all, the entrance to the apartment was extremely suspicious. Also, the cleanliness of the apartment was not what it should be. Moreover, the sheets for the sofa bed where the child was going to sleep on were not clean at all. I sent this message to the host, I appreciated the fact that she came and left clean sheets. The answer was that they were clean, but not ironed. We probably have different perceptions of cleanliness. Also, the bathroom smelled quite strongly of sewage. Probably because it is an old house. Dust and small bugs on the bedroom floor. I think the upper floor is on a wooden structure, because you could hear every step made by the people living in the apartment above. On the last morning, we even woke up at around 5 am, you had the impression that the person was right in the house with you.

Looks better in the pictures; better cleaning needed
Good location, right next to the main road of Saint Sevan and around 20-25 minutes to Saint Malo city centre. Also 5 minutes drive to the port. The oven was efficient, cooking food very quickly. Although I had to Google the model to find a manual, as the controls were not self explanatory (it has modes with numbers, that you need the manual to explain). There were coffee pods and sugar provided. The self check in was easy and convenient.
Parking is described as "free public parking is possible on site". The only parking available is on the street (i.e. not on site as advertised), and it is hit and miss whether you get a space nearby as there are very few spaces compared to the number of properties on the street. On my final day, I had to park several streets away, meaning luggage had to be carried quite a distance. Also the road is very narrow, so you can't stop temporarily to unload or load your car, since you'll be blocking the road. The owner didn't reply to my message asking where to park before I arrived. Pillowcases were dirty on arrival, they had a white residue on them, so had to wash them. The towels smelt damp and musty, so I didn't use them, fortunately having brought my own. The entrance hallway was narrow and dilapidated. I struggled to carry though luggage. The walls of the hallway are unplastered in places, making it look like an abandoned building. I struggled to open the entrance door from the street on several occasions as either the key wouldn't turn or the door wouldn't move or both. Only 2 dishwasher tablets for 3 nights. There was a constant humming noise during the night that I couldn't work out how to turn off. The bedroom curtain was too small for the window, so the bedroom was too bright in the morning The sofa in the lounge had dirty upholstery and needs a deep clean. It also had a strong smell. There was a big clump of hairs in the washing machine. The oven controls were dirty, you could see residue of greasy fingers, like they hasn't been wiped down for a long time. Similar with the windows, the interior had loads of greasy smudges. The coffee tables had marks from spilled drinks suggesting they hadn't been wiped after the previous guest. There were crumbs and dirt in the fridge and microwave, both of which had to be cleaned before I used them.

Great location & Beautiful Flat - Parking not guaranteed !
Great location Beautiful and Modern inside Fully equipped kitchen / bathroom etc Very comprehensive welcome booklet Lovely extras - free tea. Hosts were extremly prompt and responsive to messages
Parking was on street therefore not guaranteed - we were lucky to get a space. Entrance hall and main door made building looked abandoned and derelict - quite spooky and unnerving when arriving at night! Damp smell on towels/bedding and in shower room - Extraction fans not powerful enough Got quite warm and although there is no air con - would have been nice to have a fan or two. Wasn't clear where to take rubbish out to - we ended up putting it into one of the neighbours bins
