This is a very pleasant room in a home only a few minutes walk from the centre of Bowness and its facilities. It is in a lovely quiet spot away from the road. The room is a nice size and has a bathroom, dressing area and small hall with desk and easy chair. Some lovely additions were appreciated - a small fridge with fresh milk and water and a biscuit selection on arrival. We particularly enjoyed the small patio with table and chairs and appreciated the privacy. Parking was available and we felt happy leaving our vehicle there. The bed was comfortable and bedding clean and warm. It was nice that the central heating was on in the evenings when the temperature was cooler. The rooms where cleaned daily.

A couple of finishing touches could have been improved, the ceiling above the bed needs some attention and grouting and flooring in the bathroom too. However, these did not impact in any way on our stay. The access via steps would make this difficult for less able guests and the road to the centre would be difficult also.
