Truly magical place!

Everything!!! This place is incredible, it has everything you might need (and more!) The location is fantastic, so quiet and peaceful and a short car journey to all things Christmassy! The hosts were super helpful and the house was perfectly clean. 100% would recommend and we can’t wait to return one day!

Best value in Rovaniemi area

We have met Jouni's son Mikko, he was very nice and we had a good chat. The cottage/house is located at the lakeside and you almost can't see the neighbors. It is around 20 min by car to Santa Park, airport as well as Rovaniemi city center, which makes it easy to commute. House is fully equipped, we did not miss anything during our stay, there were even some toys for kids and a many plastic bobsled for winter play. The views from the house are amazing and there is nearby open air church. Overall it is very good value for money, we were very happy to stay here ❤️

Wooden sauna at the lake is for extra price, not included in the rent. There are 2 surveillance cameras inside, one down in the dining area and one in upstair lobby, there is also one camera on the terrace, facing indoors. It does not feel nice having cameras in the private areas where you or your kids may walk undressed. I would recommend to the host to cover the cameras when guests arrive.

It's a wonderful place, and Jouni prepared everything we needed. The spacious main building has four rooms, thus kids and we have separate spaces for a good night's sleep. Equipped with advanced electric oven, kitchen utensils and tableware, dishwasher, all cocoa, and tea bags are also available. The excellent clothes dryer keeps our snow clothes and boots warm and dry, and the very healing sauna room can purify our body and mind. There is a CD player to listen and Netflix to watch dramas. This is the first time we've burned wood in the fireplace to keep warm! 🔥 Most important~ Whether living room, dining room, bedroom, sauna... every living space is directly facing the invincible window view. 🎄❄️ Because of the glass terrace, we can detect and enjoy the aurora indoors easily! 🌌🌠 💖

Magical stay in Winter Wonderland

We felt like home from the very first moment we entered the villa and Jouni was there to welcome us. It's a very beautiful, well-located and cosy house with everything you can ask for. The house is extremely well-equipped and the beds are comfortable. The sauna is amazing, all 5 of us could fit in there. Incredible views over the frozen river. You can even spot some Northern Lights if you're lucky! The location is superb as all the activities are near but you're still in the middle of nature. We didn't want to leave!

An incredibly welcoming accomodation in an amazing location

We spent 3 wonderful nights in Somosenranta villa. The house is really cozy and fully furnished, you can find everything you need and even more! The host has been very helpful and the location, two steps from the frozen river, is simply amazing. 11/10 points for the sauna inside the villa.

Goes beyond the word AMAZING

We love everything about this place. This place feels like home because the facilities are excellent, complete and thorough. And the scenery around this house are majestic. Would love to come back to this place again! We accidentally set the alarm off (we baked fish in the oven) and the owners came to check on us/villa, really grateful for their concern and generosity.

Excelente tiempo en familia

El servicio completo fue increíble. Al llegar, dejaron a nuestras niñas rotuladores y papel para pintar. La casa ideal tanto por ubicación como por distancia al centro. Nos sentimos como en casa, teníamos todo lo que necesitábamos y toda la familia lo disfruto mucho. Esperamos volver en otra ocasión!

Alles sehr liebevoll und familiär eingerichtet. Es fehlte an nichts. Spitzen Lage mit einem tollen See. Das komplette Anwesen ist einfach toll und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt.

Tout était parfait. La maison est spacieuse et confortable. L équipement est top. Il ne manque absolument rien . L hôte très très sympathique a pensé a tout dans les moindres détails.on se sent comme chez soi. De bons moments au coin barbecue au bord du lac et dans le sauna La vue est magique et c est le calme absolu. Exactement ce que nous cherchions pour un séjour en famille paisible et a 20 min de voiture du centre de Rovaniemi.
