Excellent choice to relax and switch off

Very scenic landscape and excellent staff - we felt being surrounded by family. They offer many services including activities executed with high quality and safety, food, and transfer to and from city centre.

The location is far from city centre, train station and airport so one needs to rent a car, otherwise commuting is very expensive and there is only one bus passing by once per day!

Great quiet stay with

We stayed at the lakeside house, it was one of the best stay we ever had. Great to have kitchen inside, sauna, heated floor… Staff was really kind. It’s almost necessary to rent a car to get to city centre and around, but it’s worth it. The location is quiet.

Absolutely perfect stay

From start to finish, everything about this place was absolutely perfect. The experience was seamless right from the beginning, with private and very detailed explanations provided for everything, which made us feel completely at ease. The location is excellent, around 45 minutes from Rovaniemi city centre, peaceful, scenic, and ideal for a true Lapland experience. They offer a wide range of activities, including snowmobiling and other winter adventures, and it’s great that some activities can also be done independently. It’s especially well-suited for couples looking for a quiet and special getaway. There is a private sauna available (at an additional cost), and the pricing for everything was very reasonable. A lovely surprise was that breakfast was included with the stay, which added even more value to the experience. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. Their hospitality truly made the stay memorable. Honestly, there is nothing to complain about, everything was flawless. Highly, highly recommended. A perfect stay in every sense!

Perfect stay with our two kids: exceptional staff, excellent cabins, quiet and safe place—highly recommended

We come with 2 kids of 8 and 5 years old. Everything was perfect. Thank you very much to the staff and the owner they were exceptional: very kind, friendly, welcoming, and always available. The cabins we stayed in were excellent — new, clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The place is extremely quiet, safe and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and enjoying Finland. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. We would highly recommend this place and will definitely come again.

A little piece of winter paradise

Everything about this was sensational Love the fact you had to travel to get there, away from all the hustle and bustle Staff were accommodating when it was busy. And communicated well. It was like staying with friends or family Even more of a bonus, for those of us who don't eat meat - there are options .........wow!! The view of the (frozen) lake and starlit sky was breathtaking Sauna in the room was perfect Twin beds worked very well too

The small mökki was excellent, great and modern equipment, shower, bidet.

We went out of season - there was only one employee, all the facilities were closed and the place felt abondoned. It was eerie, but quite enjoyable, if you are into that sort of thing.

Fantastic position close to the lake. Bungalows are simple, but fully equipped, including a private sauna, easy to use. The owner (extremely kind and fiendly) arranged a nice snowmobile tour, in the woods and on the iced lake! Not far from Rovaniemi (30-40 minutes by car). The kitchen in well-equipped: consider to take with you some food if you are planning to stay there (it is worth...) for a couple of days. No supermarkets close by. From the lake it is possible (in clear evenings...) the northern lights: you have to move slightly away from the structure to find a dark place. Keep it as it is... simple and natural!

Perfekt

Unvergesslicher Aufenthalt in einer wunderschönen Landschaft. Das Team ist sehr hilfsbereit und es gibt einige Aktivitäten direkt auf dem Gelände. Unser Highlight war Snowmobile fahren! Die Natur ist atemberaubend und ruhig. Wir hatten sogar Glück und konnten die Polarlichter anschauen, während wir auf dem gefrorenen See standen.

Prachtige en unieke locatie met gastvrije eigenaren

De omgeving is prachtig en de eigenaren zijn enorm vriendelijk en gastvrij. Daarnaast hebben ze goede opties voor het avondeten en een lekker ontbijt met lactosevrije opties. Wij vonden de sfeer erg aangenaam, een soort huiselijke sfeer waardoor je je snel thuisvoelt. Ook hebben we sneeuwschoenen bij hen gehuurd en gaf de eigenaar ons een mooie route in de omgeving mee. Wij hebben genoten, enorm bedankt!

Tout était parfait C'était agréable de pouvoir avoir une navette sur place Le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux Les hôtes sont adorables et de bons conseils Le cadre est superbe pour des raquettes et apprécier le calme et la Laponie. Les chambres sont très bien avec belle vue sur la forêt Le restaurant le soir a une carte simple , très bonne et fait maison. Le salon est cosy pour chiller après une bonne rando. On a adoré. On a hâte de revenir.

Posizione incredibile per vedere l aurora boreale! Sarebbe stato un posto top se non fosse per il cantiere rumoroso.

Pulizia pessima, la cucina era sporca (forno, stracci, spugne già usati con residui di cibo…) e il bagno era pieno di muffa, soprattutto la tenda della doccia e puzzava. Eravamo proprio da parte a un cantiere che lavorava fino a tardi e le luci davano fastidio per vedere l aurora boreale, abbiamo dovuto spostarci sul lago. Impossibile contattare la struttura.

Nette Hütte am See, aber das Bad gehört saniert

Der See war sehr schön und das Häuschen war alles in allem mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, wenn auch etwas spärlich.

Wir waren in der Hütte Puolukka und leider hat im Bad eine Heizung/Lüftung gefehlt, wodurch das komplette Bad nach dem duschen die ganze Zeit nass blieb. Es hat unangenehm gerochen und es gab leider auch einige schimmelige Stellen. Die Sauna wurde nicht so heiß wie man es von anderen finnischen Saunas gewohnt ist, sondern eher lauwarm, obwohl wir die Sauna exakt nach den Anweisungen eingestellt haben. Generell würde ich diese Unterkunft eher in der Hauptsaison empfehlen und nicht in der Nebensaison, da zu der Zeit alles zu war und man niemanden gesehen hat.
