thought the staff were great ; and a big shout out to Michael in particular behind the bar ; great guy. Cooked breakfast was great too and was delighted to find somewhere so close to the centre with free parking

Everything there for us and easy to park

We had an evening meal for thirteen and then breakfast in the morning was excellent a really good choice of evening meals and plenty to eat for breakfast also fruit juice and toast and a selection of jams.

Very enjoyable , Staff shoukld be commmended for their customer service.

Staff were very helpful and polite and always had a smile. Breakfast was ok with enough options to meet our needs. Carvery in the evening was good and we liked the options of small or large. The bar area was friendly ( the karioke was not to our taste ). Parking was excellent with some disabled places which was essetial for our visit. we would certainly consider staying there again.

Clean room bit of an odd bed set up for a twin

Nice big clean room, reasonably comfortable bed, readily accessible spare pillows. Lots of parking

Clearly the rooms are set up to be either doubles or twins so why do they have fixed bedside tables, there wasn't enough of a gap between the beds, it could be awkward. We were travelling for work and luckily we are good friends but I still got whacked in the face by my colleague throwing off the duvet in the night.

Stingy on free tea/coffee etc in the room. I had to get more from reception. I booked a double room with double bed via booking.com but there were 2 singles when we arrived. It wasn’t clear that a separate message was needed to confirm this with the venue how the bed should be set up

Ideal location for my visit; liked the fact the rooms were remote from pub/restaurant. Secure access a bonus. Large clean rooms with everything needed.
