I enjoyed that my room was clean and the hosts were available on arrival. The location of the hotel was also very conven

The cleanliness and availability of staff on arrival.

The tap in the sink needs to be replaced as it is corroded and the mattress was sunken so that needs to be replaced.

Old and dated, needs revamping

Good Location and a warm welcome.

Old dated rooms, uncomfortable bed, wallpaper peeling off the walls, bathroom was awful and mouldy, window that wouldn't shut, all in all a poor experience and wouldn't visit again.

The entrance to the car park is via a tunnel that is quite narrow.

Poor shabby and uncomfortable

Not a lot

It was tired looking bathroom had a leak round the toilet so the floor was wet. There’s no reception at night or in the morning when we left the food bag for breakfast wasn’t even worth talking about cheap for £10 more somewhere else could’ve had a breakfast and more comfortable sleep towels at the window to stop the condensation overall very very poor

A simple bolt-hole run well

Centrally located, pleasant staff, easy check in. Bearing in mind price point, it is fine. Everything worked and was more than adequate. Some reasonable-priced eateries a short walk.

Great for our needs

Staff, so friendly. Accommodating. I walked in with a walking stick, the gentlemen noticed straight away and offered us an alternative room because our room was on the second floor. No breakfast is available, but we were given a little snack bag for the morning. Location was spot on for our visit.

Toilet was very low. The rooms and facilties do show signs of age. However, the price for the room reflects this so travellers should take this into consideration when reviewing this property.

Convenient & very reasonably priced with some nice places to eat & drink only a short walk away.

The owner was extremely professional, friendly & very helpful. We’d actually booked on line for the wrong date. Entirely our fault but it was sorted out with minimum fuss. Really nice touch to provide a breakfast bag which was much appreciated.

Perfect stay in Central Ipswich

Amazing hotel in the centre of Ipswich, easy reach of the train station, road network and centre of town. I was in a single room which was so compact and full of everything I needed. Great little shower room, TV, desk and chair, and area to hang clothes. Room had a kettle and microwave with an assortments of tea ans coffee. The reception staff was so helpful and gave me a breakfast bag. Really had a comfortable stay and certainly recommend this lovely hotel. PS Car parking available at the hotel

great value hotel for contract workers

Location...was working in the city and able to leave my car parked on site for 3 days Breakfast bag...enough to get you to morning coffee time....lunch at a pinch If you want a cooked breakfast, plenty of outlets nearby ( including wetherspoon ) my room faced away from the road so no traffic noise Never used the microwave, nearby tesco express probably sell meals

The reception staff were really friendly and helpful, showing where to park, suggestions of where to watch the fireworks. Provided a free breakfast bag which was unexpected and very welcome.

The stairs up to the second floor, were a twisty turn back on themselves which was a bit of a challenge with heavy bags

Good location for a 1 niter for footy ground

Location was good for Ipswich footy ground...10min walk ...and into town centre too. WiFi was good...car parking on site...

Great stay in Ipswich for work

The very friendly welcome and great info about the hotel. . The location is only a 20 min walk to station, and 6 mins to main centre. .Room was a good size, lovely big bay window that opened wide. .additional breakfast bag given and microwave in room! Tv worked well , bed comfy. .road noise non.existant, so pleased with that. . Heater worked well in room too. .

The overall cleanliness could be better. .the bedding needs a mattress protector, and checking. .the sheets didnt smell that fresh either? . .the shower area could do with a good scrub especially the tray area. . .I got woken up at 6.30am by a man singing for over an hour which was very annoying!! And inconsiderate of others! The manager was quick to respond to my messages when I brought it to his attention. .Other guests are no reflection on the hotel though.

If you arrive late after 9 pm message for arrival arrangements. Note the council turn lights in street off at 11, so you will need a charged phone or torch! If you want a 2nd night breakfast pack you have to ask reception.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. There was a special treat of a free breakfast pack option which I did not use, but appreciated. My room was small, but I understood it would be when I made my reservation.

Everything was as advertised or better. For a higher price, you may get more comfort, but it was OK in price-value terms.

Proprietor was very helpful and friendly. Free breakfast package was appreciated. Water in shower nice and hot.

Bathroom could have been cleaner. Shower didn't drain properly. Towel too small. TV reception rubbish couldn't watch any channel.

A roof over my head for the night

Not really very much to like, everything was just ok. Maybe a reflection of the stars of the hotel. Reception and check in were straightforward, guy was friendly.

Better toiletries. A small bar of soap only, no shampoo so didn't bother using the shower. Walls were thin so could hear others talking through the walls after midnight. Rusty radiators in room an overall reflection of the room, a bit tired and sad.

Friendly hotel in a great location for a fair price.

The welcome we received was excellent, friendly and full of useful information. Room size was good and overlooking what I thought was a main road winch proved to be very quiet. The city centre is at the bottom of the street and the marina area is walkable.
