Very, very disappointed

Simple room, clean

Charged twice for our stay - once through booking.com, once by the hotel. The hotel saya online that they provide breakfast and there is a book in the rooms to say the same. They don't actually provide breakfast of any kind

Your Review The room was spot on. Very Good service mark was really helpfull and showed me around the property. My room had its own bathroom and shower. Kettle cups coffee tea and sugar in the room also tv. Sam was really helpfull real service. She was always doing work nothing was ever a problem. Will go back next time im in preston

Was suitable for my 1 night stay and I would definitely stay again

Lovely welcome and showed to my room. Nice, spacious, clean and warm room, tea and coffee facilities and clean towels, and had a tv that actually worked

Bed was quite hard and bumpy. Was woken a couple of times with loud voices/shouting on the landing outside my room, and the sound of running water from next door room, think it is a water pipe that goes down the wall in corner of my room which is right next to the bed.

The staff were so lovely on every level of the stay. I was released by the landlord from the original accommodation and they were so nice to me and offering different situations to suit my needs, even when it was very difficult over Christmas They upgraded me to a double bed room as availability was low at that time of year. I only booked a single dwelling for the time I stayed but they were so comfortable to deal with. I really enjoyed it

Clean, good sized bed

The radiator was not on. My room was on the top floor. I was woken up at 3 am by the cold even though I was in a good bed and quilt. The shower was so pathetic. It was just dribbling and a weak pressure.

Sadly not for me

As I entered i asked a guy who looked like he lived there. "Are these bedsits"? The foyer was very dark which made me feel uncomfortable but the lady on shift assured me it wasn't run as bedsit, she was very nice. I was shown to a room where I left my car keys and was given a key to get back in and to my room. The key I was given was to a different room with no towels, sheets, quilt covers. In the morning when I realised it was the wrong room I asked the lady about retrieving my keys from the room they were left in this also had no bedding or towels etc. I would not stay there again and very nearly didn't stay the night that I did. No option for breakfast. The only thing I was truly happy about was the lady running it and that the room although old was clean.

Great value for money hotel.

Lovely place to stay. Very friendly and excellent value for money. The room was cosy, warm and very clean. The bed extremely comfortable. A stone's throw from the train station. Would certainly stay here again.

If you enjoy not sleeping for more than an hour at a time and being forcibly woken up by the far right then this is the place to be. If you don't enjoy being victimised by the far right then go elsewhere.

This hotel never fails to let me down, family friendly, welcoming staff, great location, great price

Brilliant Landlady, our train was running very late after our original train from London was cancelled, she stayed up to make sure we could get in, she was very friendly & welcoming & our room was lovely, 1 big double & a single with new bedding. On suite was was fine for what we needed with free toiletry’s. Location was superb, only a 4/5 minute walk from Preston Station & a lovely pie shop opposite selling all homemade pies the following morning. This is my 5th time at this Hotel & it always delivers, the price is very reasonable but don’t let this put you off. I would rate this hotel better than any Travelodge or branded budget hotel, tea & coffee making facilities in your room along with tv etc etc.

No breakfast available at the moment but new owners are working on putting that right soon I believe.

Over all was happy with my stay and would use again.

I didn't use WIFI so cannot comment, although i know it was available. Booking in process was very straightforward. Hotel is easy walk from city center. Room was spacious and clean. Cleaning staff, reception staff and serving staff in Breakfast room, were all very polite and pleasant to deal with. Over all was happy with my stay and would use again.

A quiet and comfortable hotel in an excellent location.

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, but sufficiently far away from main roads to afford a quiet atmosphere. I enjoyed a peaceful and relaxed weekend stay. My bedroom was extremely clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Booked at very short notice. Room not cleaned from previous guest. Fortunately there was an unused single bed in the room with clean towels on it. To tired to ask for another room so took the hit.

Great location if your using the train

Stayed here before and loved it! However, the welcome was terrible. I said "Hello", and I got back a quite abrupt "I'm on the phone!" Didn't go for breakfast as I was put off.

Friendly hotel, well situated for local ammenities.

Stayed in a single room that was comfortable and more spacious than many similar I have stayed in. The room was very clean and the bathroom had a shower that didn't disappoint. Breakfast was excellent.

Excellent room and new cup, towels etc came next day and very clean.

The shared shower had a very poor water flow so took a long time to get washed and the WiFi didn't work very well.
