Excellent night stop, close to town.

The welcome was first class. Lots of parking. At check-in the hotel facilities and room functions were explained, where the extra pillows, bedding etc could be found in the room and when/where breakfast was. The room was huge with a proper 6 foot wide bed. The breakfast was an excellent buffet, everything was plentiful, fresh and hot. Guidance on how to get into town and local highlights was really appreciated.

Received phishing what's app messages the day before and a week after the date of the booking. Supposedly from the Hotel via Booking.com. Not blaming either, just remember to double check on the App that any messages are genuine.

Fabulous

Been a while since I stayed here and as usual it didn’t disappoint. Lovely welcome and a warm and toasty room ready for me. Bed was exceptionally comfy and HUGE! Little safe for your valuables and piping hot water and soft, fluffy towels make all the difference. Great location for everything. Nothing too much trouble for the staff, so helpful and friendly. Look forward to my next visitation to the north!

angela and I think her name was lucy they had such compassion and a humanist approach. such friendly staff. I am sure other staff share the same qualities.

My stay as a lone traveller was a very pleasant experience.

The Hotel was close to the University of Lancashire where my son is studying. The room was very clean with good facilities and the staff were very helpful.

Unfortunately the coffee machine wasn't working in the breakfast room however instant sachets were available.

Hotel was a last minute stay , cheap cost wise but the hotel was great good clean room , shower very powerful and hot , breakfast was good but coffee machine was broken and nobody new how to fix , free parking and close to the center of town , definitely recommend.

Overnight Stay in Preston

A large c;ean room with a very good ensuite. The beds were comfortable although quite high from the ground. Extra p[llows were provided. Comfy chairs provided with a good size TV. The usual coffee/tea making facilities although no biscuits. A large variety of items at breakfast. Plenty of car parking. Checking in and out very simple with very friendly staff.

Excellent location and great value for money.

Location was perfect. Free parking available Pauline at reception was very polite and welcoming. Room was spotless nice big room. Beds were so comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. Loved the dove toiletries and shower was very powerful. Breakfast was great lots of variety and choices. Really enjoyed our stay and when up in Preston next will definitely stay again.

The location was poor as there was no AC and to cool the room you have to open the window which was an issue as if your next to the road and railway then you’ll be awake all night. So you have sweat all night or be awake all night with the noise.

The friendly but efficient welcoming checkin, and the lovely staff throughout my stay- I was travelling alone and felt very cared for, and safe. My room was spacious with table and chairs big enough for dining so decide to eat dinner in the comfort of my room; the process of ordering through to the delivery to my room was seamless, my meal was delivered by the lovely lady who took my order at the bar ( I am so sorry but I, unusually for me, did not get her name ) promptly in the time she said, it was hot ( not always the case with room service ) and hugely enjoyable. The room was very comfortable, quiet, I had an excellent nights sleep so much so I was quite late to breakfast but even so the full compliment of rooms still available, and again I enjoyed it enormously. Friendly front desk staff on check out who seems genuinely interested in hearing about my stay and would I stay again, a definite yes! Parking was great, my whole stay exceeded my exceptions giving the cost. I booked via Bookings.com because I am genius status, I actually received a payment of just over £6 from them towards the cost to the hotel stay but even without that it would have been great value. Your hotel will defiantly be my go to hotel when staying in the Preston area.

perhaps wider choice of dinner menu, having said that my chicken caesar salad was just what I wanted that evening!

Enjoyable return, this is the 1st year no Christmas decorations very disappointing

We return to this hotel because of its location cleanliness and friendly staff. We come as a group of 4/5 women Christmas shopping. We would like Samantha who helped with the offer of a trolley for all our shopping making it a lot easier to get to our car and pack it up. She was fab.

We have visited this hotel many times. Unfortunately on the first night we had little sleep due to the rain on the windows and dripping water from guttering hitting the window sills (happened again on Saturday). On Saturday morning when we went for breakfast the dining room was very busy. There were no covers on the hot food and the cooked breakfast was cold, the fried eggs were dried up, no pastries. W line were very disappointed. I mentioned it to a member of staff who apologiesed. Sundays breakfast was a lot better as there were considerably less visitors covers on the got food. Although no pastries and very little fruit options the food was hot. No Christmas decorations!!

Clean & tidy hotel in all areas. Rooms were well appointed and very clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Only minor gripe was with the breakfast. Items ran out quickly and weren’t restocked which, for a buffet style breakfast, isn’t great.

breakfast was best weve had in a hotel of that standard . . the buffet eat all you can was just great . the bacon and sausage was from top produce . . .lovely breakfast no complaints great coffee . the staff let us take our coffe up to our rooms . .

Very clean room, staff v friendly.

No shower curtain in wet-room bathroom (had not requested this type of bathroom); entire floor got wet. Not many veggie options at breakfast; in fact, not many options at all, as large group had been in early!
