Good location, but to much air freshener

Good location for us with nearby parking. Some breakfast stuff, milk and snacks in the room

There was a very strong air freshener smell in the property and room which was overwhelming. The beds sagged a bit in the middle so you tended to roll together during the night. My partner tripped over the corner of the duvet cover which hung down to the floor when we arrived, which wasn’t good.

No hand soap in bathroom and kitchen sponge was old and dirty. Few more plates and utensils would be nice.

I stayed at the Copper Beach Residence, the whole process was really smooth with self check in. I liked the hotel itself for two people it was so lovely to stay. Everything was near by so it is a great place to stay at. I loved my stay.

Close to central Preston so easy to see family who we were visiting. Near to Main Street so lots of restaurants to chose from.

The Mulbury apartment is right next to the front door so you hear everyone else coming & going, even when they are careful and being polite to other guests. Occasionally people would look in the windows which was at times awkward.

Great apartment in excellent location

Very nice apartment, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. I very much liked the self check-in and the welcome pack with milk and cereals etc. It was a great location, close to the centre of town but in a nice area next to the park leading down to the river.

The only downside was the very small bathroom that was so small there wasn't even a shelf to put toiletries on.

Superb apartment in fine location

This is a superbly equipped apartment on the edge of the beautiful Winkley Square. Every possible facility that you would expect in a top-class apartment. Even milk and cereals provided. Easy access. First floor but managed to haul my bag up to it. Having lived in Preston in the mid-90s, this is a prime and attractive location. Maybe unwise to venture into Avenham Park late at night but no different to any other inner-city parkland.

Thought there was no corkscrew but, of course, there was. Not a fan of rainfall showers but just personal preference.

2nd visit 1st was as a result of train cancellation and we needed accommodation at short notice which they duly provided, enjoyed facilities and location so returned for a short break- will return

If you want a nice, private place to stay in the center of town without hotel hassle, it's perfect!

Overall a great place in a perfect location for Preston city center. Spacious room in overall great order with all the normal facilities. Loved self service check in and great communication, sent via email, with all the details sent swiftly containing door codes etc.

My only two little gripes are these. 1. The sofa in the lounge area was not of good quality and already pretty warn out so really was very uncomfortable. That was a little annoying especially when you just want to chill and relax. My second one is on the Sunday morning I had to move my car and the cleaner was really quite grumpy as when she enquired were we leaving yet! I said it was and hour before check out time so no. I also enquired about a late check out of which she said no, not possible. I did email the management to request one but I had no reply from them. I was a little put out by the lack of no reply. A yes or no answer would have been nice as I would not have had a problem paying a £fee. I suppose quick to take your money on booking but I thought there was a little lack of customer service that morning especially for the room rate charged.

Cleanliness Communication Decor Location Value for the money The train station is a 5-minute walk. The bus station is about 10 minutes away. Location is outstanding. Decor is very tasteful Bedding is comfy Kitchen facilities are very handy with a Dishwasher, a very good-sized Fridge and a Freezer.

Booking two apartments so the family can stay together is a little cumbersome, as when booking, it does not clearly indicate if both apartments are adjacent or placed differently within the building. Probably, a user-friendly and clear instruction can solve this minor issue.

Luxury

Although it was up 3 flights of stairs it was worth it very clean beautiful view overlooking the Winkley square gardens the deep bath was pure luxury.Nice touch of milk and water in the fridge 2 boxes of cereals biscuits and crisps left on the table.Bed was very comfortable.Very quiet location and close to city centre.

The mirror in the bathroom was a light up 1 nut sadly didn't work unless I was doing it wrong.The tables in the lounge were chipped may need a upgrade.Apart from that perfect.

Lovely location across from winkley sq and 5 min walk to avenham and miller park very quiet nice and clean

Maybe a small couch at bottom of bed only 1 chair to relax there was 2 of us need bottle opener bathroom smelt a little sewage but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again the host was very helpful I booked wrong day he cancelled promptly allowing me to rebook

Due to poor location we didnt stay

The property was located two streets behind Winckley Place in an undesireable street from the recommended car park we walked past a derelict building into a street that looked like it had seen better days through clouds of cannabis smoke. The recommended car park had evidence of cars being broken into and didnt feel secure. As a result we decided not to entet the property due to the location and parking. We cannot comment on the interior as we didnt get that far. Unfortunately we received no reply from.the hosts when we contacted them to let the stay we weren't happy to stay via the booking.com email.

Very modern, easy access, lovely facilities.

The temperature of the room couldn’t cool down unless the window was wide open but didn’t feel safe with it being a ground floor apartment so maybe have the window opening further up so it’s less easy for someone to climb in or install air conditioning! Other than that I will be staying again x

Our train was cancelled and needed a place to stay in Preston, fortunately we picked winckley square, laden with luggage they were kind enough to give us an early check-in. Situated beside a lovely park and a few minutes from Preston rail station it is an ideal location

Quality apartment in a very convenient and attractive location

The location couldn't be better, the apartment was very comfortable and the management team were helpful when we asked about leaving luggage before our check-in and after our check-out time.

The apartment had everything we needed but there were just 2 of everything - cups, plates, knives, spoons and so on. Not a problem that would stop us highly recommending Winckley Square residence, but slightly inconvenient at times. An extra couple of cups and another knife would have been handy.

Beautiful accommodation in great location

Lovely accommodation. This is our second stay at Winckley square and the rooms are well decorated and well equipped. We will definitely stay again.

Unfortunately on this occasion another resident directly above us spoiled our stay. Loud music during the night, late comings and goings on more than one occasion meant I hardly slept all night.

Brilliant! Would definitely stay here again

Our stay was great. The room was clean and tidy! We loved the self check-in & checkout method. It makes things a hell lot easier I asked for an earlier check in and I was able to get this so thank you.

Only thing I did not like was the size of the room and bed. I have stayed at Winckley before but never in that specific room, felt small compared to the other rooms. Tv was also small and in a corner without pulling out facility so that was a little disappointing but overall it was a great stay.

Great Location and Comfortable Room

Great location near to Preston station. Easy and Painless self-check in, with clear instructions how to access property. Room was very large and well decorated, with a very comfortable bed.

Windows in room aren't to be opened, and no window in bathroom, so not great for ventillation. Room had a faint odour of weed, presumably the people who stayed there before us.

Very nice apartment, close to main high street.

Clean, well equipped, good location. Only booked at 10am on the day and the property was available by 2pm with clear instructions.

Nothing to dislike really, only minor issues were shower temperature was fixed and heating seemed to be on high so couldn't adjust down (just opened the window instead though so no real problem).

The only problem with our stay was we accidentally left the door unlocked and at around 9:30 am the cleaner came walking in the room wich we wasn’t happy about no apology or anything
