Carpe Diem

We were very lucky to find this wonderful apartment in one of the most beautiful parts of the Côte d’Azur on booking.com. Sam is a very attentive host and did everything she could to make us feel at home. The apartment is spacious and stylish, equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The air conditioning works perfectly and is virtually silent. The bed in the bedroom and the sofa bed in the living room are very comfortable – we slept like babies! Bed linen, hand towels, shower towels and even beach towels (!) were provided – all brand new and of hotel standard. Very clean modern bathroom with bathtub. The kitchen is new and attractive, designed in an Italian style, and is equipped with all the necessary appliances and kitchenware, including a dishwasher. It’s very convenient that there’s a supermarket in the same building; this is particularly valuably in very hot weather, as was the case during our stay. Another plus point of this apartment is its proximity to the railway station, from where you can quickly reach Nice and Monaco or set off on a train journey along the Côte d’Azur. And most importantly, of course, is its proximity to the lovely beach, which is just a 10-minute walk away. I wholeheartedly recommend this flat, and we’ll definitely be coming back here time and again! Many thanks, Sam and Yannick!

It is in a beautiful place! The train station is close, the beach is close and gorgeous, it has numerous great restaurants in the port. The shop is almost next door. The rooms are perfect for 2 people. The owner is really helpful.

It would be a nice touch to have more than one toilet paper roll and have some kitchen cloth.

Localização perfeita, próxima de mercados, restaurantes e a poucos metros da estação ferroviária. Apartamento muito limpo, bem cuidado e equipado. Fomos muito bem recebidos pela proprietária, Sam, extremamente atenciosa. Voltaremos com certeza.

If I was lucky enough to stay on the Riviera again, would I stay at Carpe Diem again??? Absolutely!! What a delightful find it was. Sam, the host, is a delight. She met us promptly upon arrival and gave us the tour, making sure all was in order for our stay. As others have mentioned, location, location, location. No car for us, so the proximity to train, beach, restaurants, Super U was a big plus. ✅ (Don’t think that you’re living above a grocery store. You are, but it’s just there as you walk by. It’s a really nice apartment building.) The apartment was spacious, well equipped and felt like a home away from home. We could have made our own breakfasts, but opted for a 3 or 4 minute stroll over to Café Le Beaulieu to have coffee and breakfast with the locals near the town square. The apartment’s small balcony was a delight, as another reviewer noted, getting late afternoon sunshine. Great spot to sit (with perhaps a libation in hand) and gaze at the splendid mountain scenery after a day of sightseeing. The photos on Booking.com are accurate. Sam is the best. Highly recommended!
