This villa and its owner should be avoided at all costs

The house, which is split into two apartments upstairs and downstairs, is a lovely old stone-built villa in a reasonably convenient location only 10-minutes walk from the train station

The house is in total disrepair inside. It is filthy dirty, all the fixtures and fittings need ripping out and replacing - it is all very old, cheap and falling to bits - the bottom flat at least is in need of complete renovation and should NOT be rented out in its current condition. The hot water did not work, and after the first two days of the owner promising us it would be fixed, on the third day he finally admitted that it was irreperable and went out to buy a new cistern. I was there on business and needed to shower every day, so the owner agreed we should move out for the last night, promising me to reimburse me for the one night. We were lucky to find a hotel nearby with an available room, albeit much more expensive. However, the owner never paid me back and wouldn't answer my calls. By calling him from a different phone, I got hold of him, and he promised to pay - but said it had to be done through booking.com. By calling them 3 times, Booking.com promised to sort it out with the owner - but only "made me an offer" of 80% refund. According to the owner, this is because booking.com insist on keeping their commission of 20% - and despite his dishonesty, I believe him, since booking.com do not answer the question and keep suggesting I accept the offer of €94 reimbursement against a payment of €119 per night

The property is difficult to find. No one met me or sent me any recommendations on where to look for the address. The apartment is behind two locked gates, the house number is not clearly written, and the front door from the street does not lock.

Quelle ne fut pas notre surprise lorsque nous arrivons dans cette "Villa vue mer" et que nous avons des chambres vue jardin alors que celles du dessus ne sont pas occupées. Cuisine pas du tout fonctionnelle et un seul toilette sur deux fonctionne. Hygiène tant de l'appartement que de la literie à revoir. Seul point positif, logement dans une résidence où on peut se garer aisément. Pour le même tarif vous aurez beaucoup mieux. Passez votre chemin.

Urlaub an der Côte d‘Azur

Großartige Lage - Strand, Boulangerie, Restaurants - alles fussläufig. Das Haus liegt hinter einem Sicherheitstor in einem bewachten Wohngebiet. Parkplatz im Schatten direkt am Haus. Waschmaschine und Wäscheständer. Der Gastgeber war zuverlässig und sehr hilfsbereit.

Es war uns zu spartanisch eingerichtet. Hätte auch sauberer sein können…

Zur Not könnte man den auf jeden Fall den Zimmer nehmen hab jetzt leider keine Fotos oder Videos zur Verfügung .

Die Lage war am sich nicht schlecht man konnte in der Wohnung alles nutzen von Küche bis im Wohnzimmer Parkplatz Sonst war der Gastgeber sehr freundlich 👍

Die Bettwäsche hatte ne eigenen Geruch war nicht so mein Fall die Duschkopf war defekt und die Toilettenspülung defekt war alles nicht richtig sauber

Kto hlada luxus, najde iba romantiku....pri horucich dnoch a kto ma rad chlad na spanie, klimatizacoa chybala....
